Purchased As New
This vehicle is a terrible choice of an SUV. It's good for one thing and that's deep-snow driving. However, deep snow isn't something that affects a lot of people and the majority of cars are capable of driving through snow. It's fast in a straight line thanks to its huge 5.0L engine but guzzles gas at a despicable 14 city/ 17 highway. On turns it has shaky body roll and heavy steering. All shortcomings things make it an unpleasant daily driver. For the price of this vehicle you are really just paying for the brand. The interior is rather cheap and the plastic around the shifter cracked on its own. I sincerely regret paying such a large some of money in exchange for this piece of junk that has only succeeded in further draining my wallet with maintenance problems and taking my precious time. I have had to get the trip computer replaced as it was causing the car alarm to randomly set off. I have had to get brakes replaced since they were squeaking horribly. I have had to pay a mechanic the labor of taking apart the rear seat and putting it back completely due to the seat getting stuck in the folded-down position. The cause was a faulty latch cable. All in all I've had to pay over $3,000 worth of repairs in what little I've driven the vehicle. The car only has a little over 22,000 miles on it. I cannot even imagine what problems it will give me down the road. This vehicle doesn't even deserve to be traded in. Instead it should be melted down and recycled along with all the other same generation ML's so this world can be rid of these awful gas guzzling, environment damaging hunks of junks!
