- solid feel, comfortable ride, acceleration on the highway, MPG, current value
- Accleration from a stop

There were three vehicles I wanted. The 2010 BMW 535, 2010 E350 and the 2009 MB 320ML Bluetec. I would have been fine with any of the three. I wanted a sport sedan, but if I could get the ML 320 I would be fine because of it's technology and MPG, and also its torque. Addionally I drove my wife's ML 350 and really liked the solid ride.
I have been getting about 24 MPG with mixed driving. From a stop, the engine is a little slow, yet over 2000 RPM there is plenty of passing power and it seems to accelerate on the highway faster than the ML 350 which my wife has. It doesn't really feel like you're moving fast but then you are blowing by other cars on the highway.
There is a little click of the engine while idling, but other than that it is very quiet, especially for a diesel engine. Also I don't smell the diesel exhaust thans to Adblue.
The interior is luxurious and the seats are comfortable. The command center is easy to use for the technologically inclined but perhaps not as easy to use as some japanese car electronics.
One more thing. I got a great deal. The other cars I wanted were 2010s and the dealer incentives were just not there. There is definitely a lot of 2009 MB SUV inventory so that I was able to get new technology at a discounted price.
