I recently purchased the ML 350 after owning a GMC Denali for 8 years. While the ML is beautiful, it feels very much like a car. If that is the feel you are looking for, this is a good one for you. I prefer stiffer handling and less "floaty" feeling. Also, the shift lever is basically a turn signal located on the right side of the steering column. For some reason this "demasculinates" the car...it seems dainty. I have also had problems with the radio and Bluetooth cutting out and having a lot of static which is really annoying. Great looking car, great interior, been in the service department 4 times within the past 2 months to refill the coolant....now they want to take the car apart to figure out this coolant situation...oh and the engine knocks now...we are hesitant now to even think about taking it out of town. First time buying a benz, and realized something everybody should know bf buying one: "if you are going to buy a benz, do not use it for road trips, city driving only...get rid of it before warranty expired"...read morehide

My 2010 ML350 is the best car I have ever owned. The overall handling, comfort/storage capacity, fuel economy and extra features like bluetooth & retractible side mirrors make it my all time favorite. Previously, I owned a 2001 BMW 5 - series as well as a 2006 F -150 4X4. Compared to the jerking around I got w/the Ford dealership in Modesto, the Mercedes customer service is better but not by much....read morehide

I had a Lexus RX 350 which I loved. Still don't know why I traded it in for my 2012 ML. But I love the ML. It is such fun to drive and is solid quality. It is the solid and quietest auto I have ever owned. It is very, very classy. Feels safe. Interior is excellent. Feels good on even bad roads. MB dealers treat me like a real VIP. Not very reliable car. A month after purchase, the car does not start at a shopping center. So called emergency service person, he could not start the car either. He said something is wrong with a key. So I had to bring a extra key from home to start the car. About 2 months later, the car had fuel injection problems. So it stayed in MB service center for 10 days for repair. Few weeks after I got my car back, while driving, the car had another engine problem and stopped in the middle of road. It was towed to MB service center for 14 days for another repair. This car was in MB service center for over 3 weeks since I had it for 4 months....read morehide

I love the ride but it sucks that I cant use the bluetooth o make calls. While using Bluetooth to for calls, the call quality from my side is very good but others complain of too much noise. This feature is pretty much unusable nd dealer is not able to help!! They can't reproduce the problem I face everyday! A little light on the steering

Just bought this SUV and have been driving it around. I got a special order sport interior (for ski trips), premium package and panorama sunroof. It is a solid, safe car, very luxurious and comfortable on the inside. It has a ton of great features: rear view camera, blind spot assist (essential), Sirius (particularly the weather), and an excellent cruise control. Some of the features, such as Keyless-Go and the shifter, will take a while to get used to. The steering is light compared to, let's say, a BMW, but it's easy to drive. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts, and when you really think about it, it's a decent value for what you get. The main reason we got it though was to be able to fit 3 adults (3 teenage sons) comfortably in the back. The other SUVs we looked at did not meet this requirement, for example for the Acura MDX the middle rear seat was uncomfortable and the headrest was flimsy. Really a fun car to drive- many features make it perfect for long and short trips. It senses rain for wipers and has cool lane feature for sleepy drivers. Gas though goes fast- be careful as it is quite thirsty. Better for third car with lower mileage I suspect. But would buy another- MBZ quality.
