- Pros
- Beautiful car. Drive smooth, love the ambience lighting.
- Cons
- Memory seat need to push and hold all the way until it reaches your setting.

I have owned Lexus all my driving life due to it's reliability. However this year, the RX350 design is so urgly, even my 16 year-old tell me not be buy it. Try MBz for the first time and love it for the smooth ride, quietness on freeway. Everyone has complement on the look. I have my car for 3 months now and enjoy every moment I drive it. Of course gas is bad but I got 25/gallon average and I think it's not bad for a heavy SUV like this. MBz should add ambiance lighting as a standard instead of option. It's make the car looks much more rich for only $310. Everyone should ask for it if you were to build one...read morehide

- Pros
- Style, lighting, view, blind spot, quiet, fun
- Cons
- a/c creates bad smell, headrest, driver's seat
Purchased As New
I love this 2013, but it wouldn't take much to make it better. The a/c creates an awful smell; I can feel something like metal poking me in the back; the neck rest won't go back far enough or is just uncomfortable; the owner's manual is written by someone who seems bent on confusing.

- Pros
- Comfortable controlled ride. High quality interior. Quiet for a SUV.
- Cons
- Annoying sound system, GPS gets you lost, balky transmission.
Purchased As New
Bought a 2013 ML350 4Matic in Sep 2012 as an addition to a '97 4Runner and '02 Pathfinder. It has the P01 package, Harman Logic7 sound, MB-tex, and AWD. Readers be aware that despite what Yahoo thinks, there are actually 2WD and AWD versions.
Pros:
Comfortable, controlled ride, which is impressive as it weighs about 1200lbs (!) more than my 4Runner. Quiet at highway speeds. Interior pleather feels like real leather. Steering is very light but accurate, not floaty. Easy to drive long distances in this thing. Upgraded sound system is excellent from an audio standpoint, clunky ergonomics aside. Better than my Infinity/Alpine aftermarket setup in my 4Runner.
Cons:
There are multiple ergonomic and electronic quirks that are very annoying if these things are important to you.
1) Backup camera only functions when radio is on. Why?!?
2) Shifter is on the steering column where the wiper stalk usually is. Takes a lot of getting used to.
3) There are 4 different button clusters for audio controls (2 on steering wheel, one on upper console, one on lower console) but only ONE location (and the hardest to reach) will allow you to do both at the same time. Some buttons (e.g. the "disc" button) do not do what they say they do.
4) Navigation is inferior to both Garmin and TomTom. It will guide you the wrong way on one-way streets and otherwise get you lost.
5) Balky transmission, especially from a stoplight. Transmission does not drop down to 1st promptly, so when you start again, the transmission is caught off-balance in 2nd or 3rd. The subsequent hesitation followed by "clunk" and "screech!" scares both the driver and passengers.
Overall, this is a very comfortable, mechanically sound car. But the ergonomic quirks and balky transmission are not acceptable in a car of this price. Toyota and Honda gets this right in their plebian models -- what's wrong with MB?...read morehide11 out of 13 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- It's a Mercedes, looks great, ambient lighting, smooth quiet ride
- Cons
- Having to pay for premium gas, shift on steering column instead of console
Purchased As New
I traded in my 2009 Ford Escape (which I loved) for this. I'm loving it! The ride is a lot smoother and quieter. Gas mileage isn't where I'd like it to be, although I'm still breaking it in. Tilting the seat back compensates for the headrest. I also looked at the BMW X5i35 premium, but the Mercedes offers twice the towing capacity , more legroom in back, and more headroom than the BMW....read morehide

- Pros
- luxury vehicle
- Cons
- slow acceleration, leatherette, odd angle headrest, confusing computer options, Bluetooth static
Purchased As New
I recently purchased a 2013 ML 350 and traded it 2 months later for the BMW X5. Crazy, maybe, but well worth it. The ML 350 has an extremely soft ride (similar to being in a large sedan)...if you prefer this type of ride, you'll love it. It is slow to accelerate but catches up once on the highway. The interior is very "busy" with controls, chrome, buttons and options for display. I prefer a cleaner look and less "stuff" cluttering the dash. I also had a lot of trouble with static, popping, and cutting out regarding the Bluetooth and the radio. Additionally, I feel that a vehicle with this type of price tag should have standard leather, versus the leatherette that Mercedes has gone to. Overall, it wasn't the vehicle for me....read morehide

- No third row option

To the review with the headrest angle issue - the headrest "tilts" as it is slide up and down the arc.
Nothing quite beats a Mercedes - and I have driven BMW and Audi.1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.
Was this review helpful to you?
- Pros
- Quiet, good power and handling
- Cons
- Bad headrest angle
Purchased As New
Very nice car, but my wife refuses to drive it. She would rather drive her old Acura MDX. The new driver's seat has a sharp angle that bends her head forward and downward. It does not allow any upper back support. Apparently this new design is done in the name safety and compliance with government regulations. I tried it. It indeed is very uncomfortable. I am looking for an upper back and neck support remedy for this car, but no good luck yet.
What a pity!...read morehide6 out of 6 people found this review helpful.
