2012 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class User Reviews

- Good looks and ergonomics.
- Acceleration can feel a bit sluggish.
Purchased As New
This is my first Mercedes as I was contemplating between BMW 328i and the Audi TT. I was instantly attracted to the SLK after seeing it at the dealership. It's a comfortable cruiser with the top up or down. Steering is surprisingly nimble but not as direct as a BMW (feels a bit better than the Audi though). The 250 has adequate power, but do not expect to win stop light races. The 1.8 liter turbo is great for everyday driving, but folks who want the extra oomph and the smoothness of a V6 engine should opt for the 350.
