Purchased As Used
I recently bought an '03 LS Ultimate in September. I have no complaints about the car. I think Mercury could have utilized a little more space in the back seat, but it's no big deal. It's still a huge car. The ride is very solid, and the handling on tight corners is very impressive. Its a shame that most people see the Marquis as an "old fogey's Florida car," because it is not. I am 20 years old and love the car, I don't think I can go back to a smaller car after this (I had an 03 Focus before this). I get tons of compliments from people on the car.
Its not under-powered by any means, it has plenty of power and I clocked the MPG at 18/26, thats excellent for this size of a car!! Although it doesn't take off quite as fast as my focus did, it wasn't meant to be like a sports car,... its a luxury car, but it still has sufficient power. Once that thing gets over 30 miles an hour...look out! I went up a highway ramp one time, by the time I was at the top of the ramp, I scared myself when I looked at the speedometer...I was doing 75mph! haha Its a beautiful car, no complaints...I hope Mercury keeps this car going....read morehide

Ride is smooth and quiet. Plenty of power, a good car for the highway. Large truck, good quality overall.
