2008 Mercury Grand Marquis User Reviews
- $9,511 - $10,657
- getting 24 mpg combined. great for large car.
- seat, even with lumbar attachment is not the greatest.
this is the fourth of these cars i have owned. i get on average 200,000 miles on them before i trade for a new one. eight og ten owners come back and buy another grand marquis. these are an "old mans car" average buyer is 62. even though it's rear wheel drive,i buy these at model year end and get substansial savings on them. it's a great driving car with little maintenance required. biggest thing to go wrong in four cars was real axle was worn out and had to be replced for $400 on the last one i had at 150,000 mile range. much more comfortable ride to any of the rice rockets i've been in....read morehide

For a car with this weight it need more horse power, a very poor choice of engines. should have optional 32 valve engine with 300 H.P. duel exhausts.
my liccoln mark 8 got 22.5 M.P.G. on the open hiway traveling at 70 -75 m.p.h. This is good gas milage concidering I step on it when passing.

- Good fuel economy, good safety and confort. The best car for his price.
- High beam not powerful enough.
I bought this Grand Marquis 2004 brand new. It's my second one, the first one was a model 2000, also bought brand new. I was so glad with the first one ( 160.000 miles without the slightest problem ! ) I bought a second one. Her mileage is now 43.000 miles and, once again, no problem. The Grand Marquis offers, safety, confort, good fuel economy and for his price You'll never find something better. Really a great car !...read morehide

- Loads of vehicle for the money - couldn't justify the added expense for the Town Car.
- Some of the exterior panels have inconsistant gaps. She's no Lexus but, in white still turns heads.
I purchased the vehicle to provide private transportation in the corporate world. With loads of trunk space and reasonable economy, there was no better alternative. It makes a conservative statement that serves my clients better than the competition.

- THIS IS MY SECOND ONE. YOU JUST CAN'T GET A BETTER CAR FOR THE MONEY.
DON'T BOTHER WITH THE L.S. Adjustable foot petals? Are we still growing? Climate control? How hard is it to turn a knob? You pay thousands of extra dollars for things you don't really need. I thought I'd be sorry I didn't get the L.S. but I'm not. This is a great car.

- Comfort, sturdy, roomy, good highway fuel economy for a V8
- Poor city fuel economy, front seats lack support, controls awkward to reach
Love this car. As a younger person, I've always liked the larger cars for their room, comfort and safety. The Grand Marquis offers all that and more. I've owned mine since 1998, have over 200k miles and it just won't quit! A champion thourough bred for Ford. I hope they don't stop making it however, it could use an update. As with any older car, age gets to everything and parts go but, were expected. Still expensive to repair after all these years too....read morehide

- Handles Great
- Ford Should make an AWD option
This is aGreat Car and I hope ford continues it well into the future. Everyone should own one of these cars. The Grand Marquis and its sister Crown Vic are very reliable and safe.
