- Good gas mileage and awesone stereo
- Road noise is very loud, cruise control hard to use at night because buttons are not lit up
I think that Mercury could have put more into this little SUV to make it more appealing, for mine to be a preimer there are options that it should have that is doesn't, Its just a Ford Escape with the name Mairner on it. Mercury dropped the ball on the little things on this model not one of it best designs. Will trade is just as soon as I can for a Mercury Moutaineer. That is the best vehicle on the planet!...read morehide

- Good mileage, drives like a car, plenty of storage
- Hear wind a little around windows on freeway, only air vents in dash
I love this compact SUV! Perfect if you like to be up off the ground a little but still want the feeling of driving a car. The color (Golden Ash)and body styling are just what I was looking for. I will have this vehicle for a long time to come!

- Great Small SUV---Comfortable---Gas Mileage above advertised.
Have been surprised how this vehicle handles during windy conditions. Very stable for a small SUV. Vehicle is very confortable as it is on a car frame. Much more comfortable than my 1999 Mercury Mountaineer which was on a truck frame. Have only had the vehicle for 3 weeks but am very satisfied. Gas mileage on the highway is 24.7....read morehide

- Value, design
- Front seats very stiff and lacking support, folding rear seats difficult
Very nice looking vehicle. But, on long and short distances the front seats become very uncomfortable. They are very short which leaves the thighs unsupported. Also, they are very flat and lacking in adequate cushioning.

- Beautiful interior, great options available, rear sensors, sunroof, elec. info center, crash ratings
- Acceleration is so-so, rear headsets have to be removed to fold down rear seats
This trim has a beautfiul interior and with a lot of the options it makes for a graet vehicle. My wife drives this most days and loves the comfort, feel and style of the vehicle. For a comparable price, this seems to be a much nicer vehicle than the Ford Escape. The electronic info center is nice; gives mpg, miles to empty, oil life, and tests other vehicle functions. Rear-sensing is a nice feature, especially in a parking lot. Removing the headrests to fold down the rear seats is a real pain, not only for time but also because there is nowhere to then put the headrests. The V6 seems to be a good engine, but lacks a little power because of the size of the vehicle. This is probably similar to other vehicles in its class, however. We average 20.8 mpg, according to the info center. Mostly highway, but often there is heavy traffic so there is quite a bit of braking. For the price, this vehicle comes with a good look and a lot of features that comparable vehicles do not. Oh yeah, the heated seats are a real plus, too!!!...read morehide

- It has a V6 unlike the standard Tribute, Escape, and CRV.
- ride is truck-like, unlike the chevy Equinox which drives like a luxery car.
A small-mid-size suv with 200hp. In the city, I am only getting 10 -12 miles per gallon because of the stoplights. Looks great for a smaller suv. It doesn't have that cheap look to it.

- Excellent SUV, great milage, smooth driving
I have done a lot of research and test drives before I purchased my Mariner. Marinar is one of the best buys among the small-mid sized SUVs out there in the market. I got 24.1 mpg for the 1200 miles I have driven so far. Everything of this vehicle - its outlook, its luxury interior, its handling and smooth driving on the highway - is so great! I love it!!...read morehide
