- Sporty, fun, GREAT MPG!, Can really design and make your own unique car
- Sun Visors could be bigger--that's it! I love it so much all I can think of is the visors!
Purchased As New
I love my MINI Clubman! It has all the fun and sporty feel of a regular mini but has the third door and a little bit bigger cargo space. It works not only for me but my son as well. I get asked about it all the time and I would tell anyone to get a MINI. The company has the best customer service and SOOOOOO many options and way to build your own car. It is fabulous!!!!!!...read morehide

- Excellent fuel economy, very comfortable, good handling
- Doors don't stay in the open position well, sun visor is too small, speedometer reads high
I have owned my Mini Cooper S Clubman for about 6 weeks and already have 2500 miles on it. Overall I am very pleased with the car and haven't had any problems. It handles very well and it has plenty of power. On a 70 mile round trip from the suburbs to downtown Houston and back I average around 38 MPG without really trying. You can do better than that if you work at it. The car looks great and I ofter have people commenting on how much they love the car which has never happened before with any vehicle I have owned. I have the limited slip differential which I would suggest should be mandatory on any S version Mini as the torque steer can be an issue. I have the sport package as well and the suspension is firm but not too rough. I recently took the car on a 1000 mile road trip and it was very comfortable for highway driving. The SPORT button is great because you can choose between driving conservatively for maximum economy or you can push the button and get full power with less assist to the steering. I used to have a BMW 540 and this car is probably more fun to drive and just as comfortable....read morehide

- Well built car, in all aspects. Good gas mileage, good handling, great braking, etc.
- No cons to comment on.
Be sure to get the steering with audio controls. Otherwise the controls are awkward when driving.

- Great fuel economy, great look, great driving experience, Mini does it right!
- So many options to choose from, the price can start to go up with them.
A car that gets good gas mileage that drives good and is not so slow that you risk an accident just driving it. Comfortable, unique, great maintenance and warranty programs. Mini is the only car that gets good gas mileage that is worth owning. It is actually fun to drive unlike most gas savers.

- Great looking car that rides on rails!!!
- Need to take to dealer to re-fit mis-aligned rear doors. Quality Control???
This will be the first full week we have had the ClumanS. Premium and Comfort Packages. Should have got the electric control seats, but there agan, something else to go wrong. Lever for the seat incline is a bit touchy to find, but it has only been two days since we have had it.
Drove up some windy roads last night and therr appears to be a substantial difference between standard and sport modes, especially with shifting.
Paddle shifting is ok unless you are turning, then it is cumbersome. Seems like the speed shift on shift lever shoul either be reversed or made to shft sis-to-side rather than up and back. Guess I am used to a Charger SRT8....read morehide

- Better built seats than my 05 mini cooper, rides nice. S upgrade more pep!
- air conditioning, sound system, wind whistle, rattles like mad
Have for 3 weeks. Getting around 30-31 mpg in NYC traffic/highway. Two major complaints with this car; The air conditioner is inadequate to cool it down. I've had it to dealer twice and they have informed me that this is as good as it gets. I have it down on "low" (

- Great fuel economy, handles very well and is fun to drive.
- Expensive options, so skip most of them.
I've had my Clubman S for a week now and have no complaints. The only options if got with mine were the 17" wheels/as tires, HiFi Sound, Rear fog light, Metallic paint and cruise control. Cost $26,200 and has everything one needs. The leatherette fools most people thinking it is leather, it looks and feels that good. The ride is very firm, but has no rattles and handles like it is on rails. I can't think anyone would ever need the Sport Suspension option ($500) so be sure to skip that one. Got 37.1 mpg on the first tank and looks like it might improve on the second. Pulls well in any gear from 1,000 rpm, even in 6th. Everybody that sees the car really likes it and I think it looks better than the standard sized Mini....read morehide

- great fuel economy
- location of seat recline
have had this car for a week now. bought it as a second car. i have a f350 deisel that has sat in the driveway ever since the purchase...thought i would keep the truck, but after driving the clubman for a week, i am now looking to sell the pickup....by the way, i am 6'4", 235, and have more than enough room, as a matter of fact, if i push the seats all the way back, its an uncomfortable reach to the clutch....also, 2 car seats in the back is no sweat
beware, if you test drive one, you'll end up buying it...read morehide

- Exterior/Interior Styling; slick six spd; fuel economy; Clubman room
- Pricey options
My 08 Clubman S is an all-around excellent car. The added space allowed me to finally purchase a MINI. My two little boys (5 & 3 yrs old) fit perfectly in the back and love the big speedo and entire interior decor. I love the handling, pick-up, and six spd transmission. I have the sports pkg and don't find it to be too harsh; however, you can definitely feel the road...but I like it that way. The added wheel base definitely smooths out the bumps compared to the coupe. The Clubman is very eye catching with the split rear doors and double-take extra length. I would highly recommend this car. However, if you do have children, you will definitely need this to be your second car; cuz with both of my boys loaded, there is not much space left behind the seats for too much stuff. Our other car is an 07 Honda Ody. Anyway, test drive one yourself and you'll fall in love.

- Just fun to drive. Good fuel economy. Quick and nimble. Steers like a go-kart.
I'm 6' and 220lbs - yes it's small - what is it about "MINI" that's not obvious. My "other car" is a Ford F350 crew cab dually - and I'll take the MINI any time. It's a real hoot to own and drive, and I get a lot of positive comments. Many people ask "where can I get one?"
I owned several of the classic mini's in a "former life" - and the "new" MINI is a huge improvement over the "utility" Mini of yesterday....read morehide
