- Fun to drive and easy on gas
- no driver's side club door

I love the way the base Clubman handles and the preformance out of the non-turbo. The turbo I test drove was nice, but not needed for everyday driving. Didn't opt for the sport suspention...should have though. Handeling without it is good, but would be better with it. The fuel economy with the manual transmission is unbelieveable at high 30's into the low 40's if you're careful. Plenty of room for a car seat and groceries also. The Club door on the passenger side is great, I just wish it had one on the drivers side also...next gen most likely. Had some AC issues off the boat, but the dealer quickly fixed that. Overall: still a fantastic ride at 33,000 miles and counting....read morehide

I bought a Benz C240 new in 03...after several costly service issues, I was hit with an estimate that cost more than the car itself !!! While my car was still at service but not repaired...a friend let me borrow his Mini sport for a weekend trip...Upon my return, I pulled my Benz out of service without repair and traded it in for my Mini Clubman three days later...At first everybody was..."You went from a Benz to a Mini?"...Yes I did and I don't regret it for a minute...Handles like the Benz never did, great ride and fuel economy to boot. Very spacious inside except when I have an adult sits behind the drives side...I like alot of leg room, maybe too much and I need pull my seat forward "more than I'd like" but honestly...I had to do the same thing in the Benz...As for storage in the back and travel...just pack soft bags that give a bit and conform to the space and you'll be fine...I've travelled (family of three) for a ten day road trip and even with purchases along the way, you could never see I had bags in the back...just pack wisely !!! Mini Cooper or someone out their sould come up a similar luggage set like the one made for regular Mini's but for the Clubman.
I spent three days looking on-line and travelling to different dealers and before I decided on my Mini Cooper Clubman...If your thinking of buying a Mini Cooper...I recommend the Clubman...It's not as sporty looking as the regular Mini but the diffrence in strorage is vast...either car is great...just got for it !! You won't regret it....read morehide

- Excellent mileage - Plenty of Scoot
- Dumbest seat belts since the Vega

This is our second Mini. Had an '06 base coupe. Thought we would lose some of the fun factor with the bigger Mini. Not so. The Clubman out performs the little hatch in all respects. Better mileage. Averaging 30 - 33 city and 38 - 40 highway. Rides better and handles and scoots just as well. We live in Wisconsin so I put Nortic snows on it for the winter. Tracks through the snow like a Mini Jeep. Fun to drive winter or summer. What more could you ask.....well maybe more accessible seat belts....read morehide
