2500 miles into owning my 2012 Clubman...still has that new car smell and feel. I needed a car that would help me at the pump, carry my 'stuff' around, and yet still be fun to drive (aka not a prius)...Mini Cooper Clubman met all of those requirements and more! I have had my new clubman for 2 weeks. It has been a long time since I have fallen in love with a car but it is happening now. it is so unique, well-engineered, intelligent, i cannot get over it. The design is not the most attractive of the mini series, but completely functional. My cooper s version has great performance but the auto trans seems to have trouble keeping up with the power of the engine, If you are at all curious about the possibility of this as an alternative, I urge you to check it out...read morehide

My friend bought a new Clubman from San Francisco BMW/MINI and I was surprised at the quality built into Mini's.
You drive forever on a tank of gas; it holds it's own on hills; it has full leg room in the front passenger seat; the sound system is to die for; when you open the rear doors you notice that they open around the inset taillights. Check it out and you will see what I am talking about. Also the Mini is wider that one would think. You do not feel cramped like sardines in a can. But it gets better, the salesman Mr. Birendra was short on high pressure selling and more for showing you the many amenities and letting you shop at your leisure. What is my complaint? My friend drove his new Mini home while I followed driving his "clunker"....read morehide
