2005 Mitsubishi Endeavor
There are 5 user reviews for the XLS AWD trim shown below
- Handles great, a little above average MPG, great sound system, fantastic blue dash lighting
- Sunroof leaks with the force of the air dryer at car wash.
This is my second Endeavor. I had a used 04. I just got a new 05 just because I like the outside trim better than the 06. The blue dash lighting is AWESOME..! Handles great around town and is comfortable on long trips. Nice wide center armrest. Two front power outlets for charging electronics. An "A" overall....read morehide

- Cargo Room, Warranty
- Preminum fuel, brakes, please see below
I bought my Endeavor in March 2005 and I will never buy another Mitsubishi again. When I first received the car they had to fix a broken cargo net in the truck on drivers side. A couple of months later my check engine light came on and I had to have a part (emissions gauge) replaced. Now 10 months later, my trip odometer will not reset and the dealer is telling me they have to order a whole new cluster and take my old one and ship them both off to New York and have the new one set and then shipped back. Needless to say I will be without a car for at least 3 days. I am just grateful it is all covered by warranty.
Also fighting with Mistubishi to get a rental car for the time my car will be in the garage....read morehide

- I love this car. It is so beautiful and fun to drive it.
This is my first SUV ever. I test drove all the SUV's in the market before buying this SUV and I absolutely fell in love with this car.
It really has everything I was looking for in an SUV. After test driving all the SUV's from various makes and models, I went back to the dealership to buy this puppy.
Comfortable ride, very roommy. My three dogs and myself absolutely love it!!!
Very classy interior and exterior, very roomy, extremely confortable and great sound system....read morehide

- Deceivingly good cargo capacity, perky engine around town, long distance comfort level
- wind noise at highway speed, quirky ABS, needs 5 speed, stock low profile tires
This is my second Mitsubishi. I logged over 160,000 miles in the Montero sport I had in 4 years no problem.
The comfort level is exceptional, supported by a premium sound system, wide center armrest, roomy cockpit, and comfortable seating for long trips. However, wind noise is a little loud at highway speeds. Also, the cheap plastic over the driver seat hinge doesn't respond well to entering and exiting and the dash display is hard to see in direct sunlight.
The cargo capacity is exceptional for home improvement duties, offering a stock roof rack, a split rear seats and wide hatch.
This vehicle takes corners like a car with minimal roll and the engine is perky and responsive around town. 4th gear is long and passing maneuvers will have you looking for a 5 speed.
The ABS is loud and takes a little getting used to in snow, as does the 50/50 AWD. The rear has a tendancy to slide out. I'm going to put a set of higher profile all-season tire on it.
In all other weather this vehicle handles like a champ, and I'm looking forward to another 160,000 miles....read morehide
