i am very satisfied...bought well under kelly blue book value...purchased for 10,600.00....a very sharp looking car, my 6'4" husband has plenty of room in driver & passanger side...the back seat is also roomy with plenty of leg room even sitting behind my husband with seat clear back!!!....my first week i got 21 mpg which i'm not totally impressed with trying to save $$ on rising gas $$...but over all i'm very impressed with how it looks & handles!!!...would highly recommend an 08 mitsubishi galant!!!...read morehide

I was trading in a 2006 Galant on a newer Mitsubishi. I was aiming for an Outlander, but got a great deal on a 2008 Galant ES with the sport package. I've never had a black car before and I love it! It looks incredibly sharp with the alloy wheels and the spoiler, and I'm enjoying the 6-CD Rockford Fosgate stereo with Sirius satellite radio. The sound is awesome! You also get steering wheel audio controls. Beyond looks, though, the car is a great commuter car. I get about 25 mpg with a mixture of city and highway driving. The 4-cylinder engine is smooth and responsive, and the car handles extremely well. It's sporty without being too uncomfortable. I can seat four people very comfortably, even with my driver's seat pushed all the way back. I do wish it had a folding rear seat to make it easier to carry larger items. And to top it off, you get excellent crash test ratings and a long warranty! I never had a single problem with my 2006 Galant, so I look forward to more reliable motoring with this one....read morehide

Leg Room, the outside look

i just upgraded from my 97 thunderbird to my galant and i love it. The color is pretty. It's blue and in the dark it looks blue/green with the flakes being in the paint. Me, being a 6'5 female and all legs, I was really suprised with the leg room in the front. I love how the car rides, and the gas mileage is great comparing to my thunderbird....read morehide

interior some might say is too spartan but I like it - clean and expansive

The Rockford 6 speaker, 6 cd changer audio system and sirius sattellite radio is to die for. The car is much sharper and sportier looking than the regular Galant. Good choice for someone who wants something in-between in their sedan. Great safety rating, and you can't beat the 10 year, 100k POWERTRAIN warranty. 3 grand off the top and special financing? No brainer. It was almost the same price to buy a car with 57 miles on it as buying a 2007 with 15K miles on it. Go figure.

I might just be a Mitsubishi convert!

For then money and all the options this car came with, nav system, rockford 600 watt 6 indask cd, heated seats auto climate its got everything and to pay 23,000 what a steal.....0-60 in less than 6.4sec. The only draw back this engine requires premium gas

Do not like the idea of balloon tire in trunk and no room in well for std tire.

It is an attention getter. Great speaker system and ride is comfortable. have owned Mitsu. products since the early 90's and no complaints. This car can really move in automatic or the five speed shift.

I reasearched and drove all of the top rated comparable sedans; Camry, Accord, Altima, and Sonata, as well as the Galant prior to purchase decision. For all around quality, comfort, interior room, handling, real-world engine/transmission drivability, standard equipment, safety equipment/rating, reliability rating, warranty, and price, the Galant ranked at or near the top. The current $3000.00 rebate makes the Galant an unbeatable value in this segment and made the purchase an easy decision. The local dealership is customer oriented and provides excellent service. I owned a '94 Galant for 10 years and it was an excellent car. Based on what I've seen so far and the price I paid for this car, I am going to be even more pleased with my '08 Galant.
