- Little luxuries, styling, fuel efficient engine that made me get the Lancer Sportsback.
- Others did not offer the 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty!
Purchased As New
The Lancer Sportback is all about life's little luxuries. Open the doors without using a key. Sink back into the comfort. Make a call just using your voice.Tthe Lancer Sportback is the definition of uncompromised and add to that great mileage. A smart transmission that actually learns and responds to how you drive, and you get a practical yet stylish car that makes you feel at one with the road.
Sporty and effcient engines yet fuel-efficient MIVEC, paddle shifter, HID headlights, sport-tuned suspension, continuous variable transmission, 18" alloy wheels, european styling, sports front grille and bumper, power glass sunroof, fast key passive entry system, 710 watt Rockford-Fosgate audio system, heated surface leather seats,
With everything the Sportback has to offer, there's so much to enjoy even before you leave the driveway. 40 GB HDD navigational system w/ music server, fuse hands-free link system, ample cargo room, leather wrap steering and gear shift #$%$, rear view camera system, ABS w/ electronic brakeforce distribution, seven airbag safety, RISE body construction.
10 year/100,000 mile powertrain warranty, LATCH system, active stability control, auto wipers and headlights, 5-year/60,000-mile bumper-to-bumper new car warranty and the IIHS agrees, naming it a "Top Safety Pick"....read morehide

- Built to last, Japan made, frugal gas mileage, low priced, sweet designed!
Purchased As New
A squashed down roof with existing technologies and features into a new overall package. The result is a car-like ride coupled with the utility of an SUV or wagon or sedan, depending on what you want to haul. Well-designed cockpit area features some clever and some obvious designs in the dash and center console area. Seats were comfortable for extended drives but, like most offerings in this class.
The engine is frugal in gas and was more than enough to cut into traffic and maintain its power. The automatic transmission offered flawless shifting with little in the way of tranny noise penetrating the cabin. It also offered the opportunity to row the gears yourself through its shift function.
Road feel was excellent, but it just goes to show, that not every car need be a sports or enthusiast special to be good. , The MacPherson struts at both front and rear managed to keep the Sportback firmly planted, and would be more than sufficient on any off-pavement assignment an all-wheel-drive variant might face. The Mitsubishi name has been synonymous to durability, agility, Japan made and rally tested machines that compete at the highest level of the hardest motor sport in the world!...read morehide

- Reliable and rugged as been proven year after year in Dakar rally's DNA.
- No Japanese carmaker offers nowadays 10 year/100K mile warranty!
