Purchased As New
I drive a Dodge Ram 5.7L Hemi, but my friend has a new Lancer. It's alright for the price, I guess, but if you're looking for a fast car... yeah keep looking. This is not it.
The Lancer Evolution series are legendary. They're awesome. The Lancer DE 2.0L I4 is a joke. In a drag race, I beat my friend's lancer DE with my stock Hemi Ram Quadcab. The Quad is a 7,000 lbs full-size pickup truck intended for hauling 9,000 lbs. The Lancer DE weighs in at 3,000 lbs... and it couldn't beat a TRUCK that weighs more than twice what it weighs. Normally you're not supposed to race different class vehicles... but the Lancer is an exception.
Also it's cramped and tight inside. But then again, I'm used to a fullsize. Face it, this is a girl's car. Don't expect to win against anything stronger than a Prius if you buy this type of Lancer.
