9000km still happy with the truck, tailgate is awesome, handling and power is impressive for that size. Good mileage, there is wind noise and if I crack open the windows it rattle, almost perfect!

Bought a mitsubishi in 1984 with a digital dash, got one in 1988. Traveled, came back and purchased an an american car. Traveled again, returned and bought the AWD outlander in 2006 which is now my daughter's practice car. Recently bought the 2012 SE and this one tops them all. I'm so in love with this car, bluetooth and all, plus the 6 disc player. The computer like charger for the phone and ipod are so convenient. Don't see many on the road but people tell me that it's gorgeous!!!! Drives like a dream and great on gas. Can't believe it!...read morehide

- Handling, stability, all wheel drive & sound system.
- Cons
- None

I can't remember the last time I enjoyed driving this much. The handling on this suv is quite responsive and nimble. I haven't noticed any roll effect when cornering. The Rockford Fosgate sound system seems to suit this vehicle well, extremely clean and well balanced throughout the entire audio range....read morehide

- 3rd seat is a joke
Purchased As New
Bought a 2012 Outlander. Did'nt want the 3rd seat but it came with the car. It's a stupid piece of equipement because you can't get a person into the seat when it's up, there is no padding and the head rests are like a couple of boat paddles. Don't buy this vehicle if you are going to need the 3rd seat....read morehide

- WARRANTY!/ fuel economy/ roominess/ comfort features

After researching all available SUV's in my price range, this vehicle gave me the most for my $. The 5yr/60K mile bumper to bumper and the 10yr/100k warranties I never new about but certainly meet my needs. I'm currently getting 25-27 MPG in Chicagoland area. That's awesome! Can't wait to take this vehicle on a road trip to see MPG on the highway. The sound system rocks and the sunroof is icing on the cake. The cargo area is very deceiving. It can hold 2-3 coolers and still close the rear hatch. 3rd row seat could be designed a little better but still works if you have kids or teens. Definitely recommend purchasing this vehicle over the more expensive Honda, Toyota, KIA or Hyundai. Blows the domestics out of the water as well in terms of value....read morehide

- Pros
- The top Japanese competitor's head likes the Mitsubishi durability and reliability.
- Cons
- Every carmaker should have 10 year/100,000 mile warranty, like Mitsubishi
Purchased As New
I have a Mitsubishi Outlander for several months now and I love this car. It's styling, comfort, amenities, performance and fuel economy is tops. I say this because I have tried several cars from domestic to foreign and I can attest that Mitsubishi is one of the best carmaker. Even Toyota President Akio Toyoda lists one of the best domestic (Japanese cars/SUV's) vehicle on his top list is a Mitsubishi Pajero, a long-running Pajero line of SUVs solidified Mitsubishi’s off-road reputation.
Coming from the Toyota head, it is very credible because he has tested his rivals vehicles for comparison. It only states that Mitsubishi just builds great, reliable and economical vehicles!...read morehide3 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Price, quality build, fuel economy is right at sticker, comfort, style and Japan made!
- Cons
- I haven't found one yet in my months of using the car.
Purchased As New
I have owned several cars before I tried a Mitsubishi Outlander and I can say it is one of the first cars I have owned! First, the styling of the car is unique that I can tell right away from a distance, it's an Outlander, the fuel economy is right as the sticker says, the 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain is the best a carmaker offers, especially from a Japanese, comfort is outstanding with amenities found only in upscale models, price is reasonable, if you compare with other Korean or Japanese makers and the best of them all is it is still made in Japan, which makes it an astonishing value!...read morehide

- Pros
- Stylish looks, best warranty, made in Japan, comfort, aboundant amenities
- Cons
- Comparing to others, not a single one.
Purchased As New
I bought the Outlander after a fairly comparison with other brands in the field. I came back to the Mitsubishi Outlander as it became my favorite car/SUV among the many. It's looks, performance, comfort, amenities, warranty, handling and reliability, all came to the conclusion that it is the best and I just bought myself to love this car and brand!
I suggest you be the judge and try one for yourself....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Tarmac, Gravel, Sand, Snow, Muddy terrain. This vehicle can go through all of them
- Cons
- Interior Could be improved with more classy materials
Purchased As New
This vehicle performs very well on both road and off road paths. You will really get to appreciate it's S-AWC system on sandy and snowy terrain. This is one of the few vehicles that can run perfectly over thick snow with summer tires. I never even had to put chains or even decrease the tire pressure....read morehide
