I drove a Toyota Highlander prior to purchasing the Outlander. What great performance and style. This car rocks!! Fast with great mpg. My wife has a Outlander Sport and is always sniffing around the Outlander! Take a test drive like I did and really put it through chug holes and corners. I hate to say it but I don't miss the Highlander! Besides, the Mitsubishi can win you over than any of the top brands due to no manufacturer's defect and recall that plagues other top brands today!...read morehide5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Stylish looks, best warranty, made in Japan, comfort, abundant amenities
- Cons
- Comparing to others, not a single one has the 10 year/100K warranty!
Purchased As New
I bought the Outlander after a fairly comparison with other brands in the field. I came back to the Mitsubishi Outlander as it became my favorite car/SUV among the many.
It's looks, performance, comfort, amenities, warranty, handling and reliability, all came to the conclusion that it is the best and I just bought myself to love this car and brand!
I suggest you be the judge and try one for yourself.
The fuel economy is right as the sticker says, the 10 year/100,000 mile powertrain is the best a carmaker offers, especially from a Japanese, comfort is outstanding with amenities found only in upscale models, price is reasonable, if you compare with other Korean or Japanese makers and the best of them all is it is still made in Japan, which makes it an astonishing value...read morehide5 out of 5 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- The top head, Akio Toyoda likes the Mitsubishi durability and reliability.
- Cons
- Every carmaker should have 10 year/100,000 mile warranty, like Mitsubishi
Purchased As New
I have a Mitsubishi Outlander for several months now and I love this car. It's styling, comfort, amenities, performance and fuel economy is tops. I say this because I have tried several cars from domestic to foreign and I can attest that Mitsubishi is one of the best carmaker.
Even Toyota President Akio Toyoda lists one of the best domestic (Japanese cars/SUV's) vehicle on his top list is a Mitsubishi Pajero, a long-running Pajero line of SUVs solidified Mitsubishi’s off-road reputation.
Coming from the Toyota head, it is very credible because he has tested his rivals vehicles for comparison. It only states that Mitsubishi just builds great, reliable and economical vehicles!...read morehide8 out of 8 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- Dependable, the AWC is great, Decent MPG
- Cons
- Navigation system is junk, 3rd row seat lame, paint is cheap
Purchased As New
Bought new and have the GT-AWC with just about every option, The Navigation system is very poor, half the features don't work.Paint job is very poor,Started having chips in the paint 3 weeks after purchase. Interior could have a better quality finish for the price. 3rd row seat is really kinda lame. On a positive note: Looks good, everybody doesn't have one so I like driving something different. the AWC really works in heavy snow or on the beach. No mechanical issues, But service department at dealership leaves alot to be desired....read morehide
