2006 Mitsubishi Raider User Reviews
LS Extended Cab 2WD AT shown
- $5,795 - $12,399
- Lots a room in the backseat.
- Brakes often feel like there's a warped rotor, or ABS is pulsating. Dealer has not been able to fix
Air conditioner is a little less that I would expect. Gas mileage is marginal, but adequate for this type vehicle.

For the moment I bought this truck I wanted to get rid of it, if you can even call this piece of crap a truck. This thing has a 3.7L engine and gets no gas mileage and of course no power. the transmisson sucks. I thankfully traded this trucks in for a real truck a Chevy Silverado. I still owed on it but it was worth it to get rid of it....read morehide

- Great Sound system, better looking and better suspension then dodge cousin,
- painfull exhaust system, aftermarket parts difficult to find, speed lim.
I bought my Raider this year and have 20,000+ miles on it already. AT works great for acc. Beat the tacoma xrunner off the line. The V8 was work the money. Truck gets lots of looks from everyone, drove it cross country, got pulled over three time with it. lots of fun. many people asking questions. Towing is ok, i would recomend the AWD for it. 6 cd player worth it. gas wise its about 20 if you travel over 70 on a daily basis. lots of extras very nice. leather heated seats feel great. worth the low prices and a great buy since its not going to be around long...read morehide

- Great smooth ride, great looking truck, heated mirrors, great towing capacity.great looking interoir
- Door trim moldings are peeling off after only 450miles but that's what the warrenty is for.
Bought v8 Durocross double cab compared to all the rest they couldn't beat the price ,5k off, with such a good warrenty!

- Very comfortable, excellant warrenty, better value than a dakota.
- Not enough advertising done to get the word out about what an awesome truck this is.
Most comfortable, best riding truck I have every owned. I traded in a Dodge Ram 1500, and had a Ford prior. The Raider has plenty of room, rides great, and is all around comfortable. Less expensive than a Tacoma, an much more interior room. Rear seat is actually useable. Gas mileage is surprisingly better than I anticipated. Warrenty is 5 years 60k miles bumper to bumper. It must be quality if they are willing to back it that long. I have the V6, and it's got plenty of pick up to it. I test drove a lot of trucks before buying this one, and I am very glad I went with the Raider. Very sharp looking truck. I can't say enough how comfortable this truck is. Interior is not cheap looking like the dakota's. It has chrome accents all throughout the dash, and the vents are modern, etc. It's a great truck, if you are considering...go ahead and buy it. You will not be dissapointed....read morehide

- GOOD SHAPE, NICE PACKAGE, FAIR PRICE, COMFORTABLE RIDE!
- EXTEND THE WARRANTY TO 10 YEARS/100,000 MILES!
BOUGHT THIS TRUCK AFTER A LONG TEST DRIVE TO CHECK FOR FUEL MILEAGE, BRAKES, SUSPENSION, ENGINE PICK UP, STEERING/HANDLING AND RATTLES(NONE). WAS SATISFIED WITH THE OUTCOME AND HAGGLED WITH THE PRICE PLUS OPTIONS A LITTLE BIT. FINALLY, CLOSED THE DEAL AND RODE IT HOME FEELING HAPPY ABOUT MY DECISION! THE ONLY THING HOLDING THIS TRUCK UP IS THE WARRANTY. THAT IS, IF MITSUBISHI EXTENDS THE WARRANTY TO 10 YEARS/100,000 MILES, THE DRIVERS WILL FORGET THE TOYOTAS, FORD'S, CHEVY'S AND NISSAN'S BECAUSE NO OTHER TRUCK COMPANY CAN STAND UP FOR THEIR PRODUCT!!!...read morehide

- it looks great, feels great
- none so far, hope it stays that way
I just got my raider 4 days ago. I went to look up the truck and seen what everybody else was saying. There are a lot of mixed reviews. The only thing I really dont like is the mpg. I had a kia before and even for a kia, mpg was excellent. But I guess that is what I get for buying a truck. But my 3 kids love it. So we will take care of it and it will take care of us....read morehide

- Ride is too rough!
I have had this truck for a few months and i am very disaappointed,

- Very Masculine Look
- Could use a little more pickup
This is absolutely the best truck that I have ever owner. Owned a S-10, Frontier Desert Runner, and now The Raider. I get more complements on the looks of this truck and the comfort over any other vehicle that I have ever owner. V-6 could use a little more pickup but not that big of a deal. I am glad that Mitsubishi partnered with Dodge for this engine, since Dodge makes such good truck engines. I would definitely recommend this truck to any truck owner. Absolutley the best vehicle that I have ever purchased. When I was truck shopping, it was between the Frontier and the Raider, both are excellent trucks but i'm glad that I went with the Raider. It definitely has a defined masculine look to it and handles great too....read morehide
