The Clubman takes its name from the station wagon model offered on the original Mini from 1960 through 1982.

BMW, the parent company of Mini Cooper, showed off its latest Clubman concept at this fall's 2007 Frankfurt Auto Show. The station wagon concept got its first public showing at the Frankfurt Auto Show two years ago as the Mini Traveller concept.

The Mini Cooper Clubman can be configured with four or five seats.
