PROS: Honda Quality

CONS: Exagerrated fuel economy claims

REVIEW: I was a little disappointed with the fuel economy claims. In the summer, I get roughly 800 km - 840 kms (500 - 522 miles) on a 50 liter tank (13.2 gal), city driving. Fuel economy drops dramatically in the winter, 600 km - 650 km (373 - 404 miles) per tank. It seems that the temperature of the ...

PROS: Good Fuel Economy, Good sound system

CONS: "Weeee" = sound of electric engine

REVIEW: I have owned my Hybrid since April last year (2005). I live in the Northeast and have seen the mileage slip a little lower (41-42mpg) in the cold weather. At just under 600 miles per week it is a very good comuter car. I trade it for my F150 if the snow prediction is for more than a dusting ...

PROS: better than NON-HYBRID cars in mileage.

CONS: Doesnot hit the mileage mentioned on the sticker- with lame excuses from Honda dealers for low mlage

REVIEW: I bought a 2005 brand new honda civic hydrid. The sales guy
talked only about the higher miles/gallon civic hybrid gives when
I bought it in March-2005. But In winter time, I find (even today)
that the mileage dropped by as low as 34 miles/gallon. I live
in Texas and the winter is not even that ...

PROS: New technolgy

CONS: non folding back seat

REVIEW: Finally after a few years of dullness the new Civic has a beautiful design. The minute you sit in it you know that it has the stance. You feel like you're sitting in totally new kind of car different in a way thats hard to describe. Maybe its the new dash board with totally different windshield ...

PROS: Excellent design, drives better than most people think for a hybrid

CONS: This our second Civic Hybrid -1st - 45 MPG, 2nd - 38 MPG

REVIEW: My wife purchased a 2003 Civic Hybrid with CVT. She put 70,000 miles on it and averaged 45 MPG. This was a mix of day to day work driving (90 miles per day) and vacation (loaded down in Alabama in the summer with AC and at least 70 MPH - got 45 MPG) Also was able to keep up with our sons V8 Jeep in ...

PROS: What you expect from a Honda

CONS: Ride is a little rough, seat a little too low

REVIEW: I am convinced that the reviews posted were put up by Honda Marketing reps. I have previously owned 4 honda civics over many years. The last, a 2001 model, got 38 miles/gal routinely. I am not getting any better with the Hybrid. These reports of 47 - 60 mpg are obviously bull. So much for the value ...

PROS: Great gas millage

CONS: lack of power. Can hear the road. small tires.

REVIEW: First at all, I should have waited 6 months more to get the more powerful and better appearance (cool) Honda Civic Hybrid 2006 with just $500 more than 2005 model. But performance and appearance are much better. Current model Honda Civic Hybrid lack of power, only 93 HP in combination.
PROS: Drives exactly like a non-hybrid Honda Civic

CONS: It also gets the same gas mileage

REVIEW: I've owned 2 previous Honda Civic EXs and this is my first Hybrid. I paid the same price for the Hybrid as for the Civic EX, figuring I'd make up the difference in gas mileage. Instead, I just miss my moonroof. On my Civic EX, I was getting 33 mpg. On this Hybrid, I am getting 33 mpg. I ...

PROS: Good fuel economy. Nicely equipped.

CONS: Hybrid more expensive.

REVIEW: Bought this car on a Friday and took it on a 300 mile road trip over the weekend. Mileage calculated by trip odometer says ~42.5. Not quite up to what the EPA estimate says, but I wasn't expecting that.
