PROS: Appearance

CONS: Poor quality, poor mpg

REVIEW: I think I bought a lemon. The best mpg's so far is 31 mpg. I've tried multiple driving techniques, even rode around w/ a Honda mechanic for hints. It has very sluggish acceleration. I bumped the curb on my driveway and my front bumper came off on one side. This is my 5th Honda. I' ...

PROS: Fuel Economy close to Old EPA, Over New EPA Numbers

REVIEW: This is my second Civic Hybrid, the 2007 replacing my 2004. Over its' lifetime, I averaged 46.9 MPG, compared to the 47/48 EPA estimate, I'm not sure how some drivers only get 30-35 MPG, I had only one tank ever go below 40 (38.8) MPG. The first tank on the new 2007 came in at 47.2 MPG. ...

CONS: Noisy interior. Fogs up more than any car I've owned. Handling is less-than-top drawer.

REVIEW: I am extremely disappointed in Honda's blatant misrepresentation of the true miles per gallon achievable for the 2006 Civic Hybrid. I was assured by the dealer that the EPA rating of 51/49 was achievable with light-footed driving. Instead, 6 months of driving reveals an average of 38 mpg ( ...

PROS: smooth ride. 36~43 MPG.

CONS: very serious quality issue

REVIEW: MPG varies based on the weather. In summer, 41~43MPG. In winter, 37~39MPG in mainly highway driving.

The civic hybrid has very serious quality issues that shuts down the hybrid system. IMA/Maintenance/Battery lights tuned on and the car became the non-hybrid car.
PROS: Excellent fuel economy, and quiet

CONS: None

REVIEW: We just bought this car and we love it. I was suprised to see just how much room this car has. I'm a big guy (6'1" 315) and have no trouble fitting in this one. We are still on our first tank of gas, and we are averaging 39 mpg. It will get better as we break it in.
PROS: Great MPG on highway, modern interior and controls, smooth ride

CONS: Lower than expected city MPG, slightly uncomfortable seats, no fold-down

REVIEW: We've been very happy w/our 2006 Civic Hybrid so far. Mileage on the highway is 50+ as advertised, especially in cruise, although city mileage is usually just above 30 for us (we live in a very hilly area). I expect that to improve with time, as we learn the car better.
