PROS: fuel economy, "green" car, backup camera

CONS: acceleration, winter traction

REVIEW: Great car, averaged 40 mpg on trip from MI to CO, driving 75 to 80. Can't do that with my 4 Runner. Took it to the Continental Divide with 4 people in it and had no difficulty with the hills. Great gas mileage on the way down. Drove 25 minutes and didn't use any gas at all.
PROS: Good gas mileage, lots of leg room, fun for techies

CONS: Have to pay MSRP :(

REVIEW: I LOVE my Prius. In Houston, TX, we can generally get an average of about 51-52 MPG. We have even gotten as high as 57. No, you will not get exactly the "advertised" EPA estimate, but those are under ridiculously ideal conditions -- they just changed it for that reason.
PROS: Whats not to love?

CONS: Why aren't there more on the road?

REVIEW: People who are complaining of not getting the MPG above 48 must be driving in correctly or they live in the mountains. Consistantly get 58 MPG on my Prius.

I have driven it from South Carolina to Arizona.. and often drive from AZ to CA. Never had an issue with it. Fits two car seats and a bulky ...

PROS: Quite, solid seats, cool transmission handle, very good brake power

CONS: Need to have EV like in Europe, need to get driver seat further back, bad armrest fabric

REVIEW: You bet you can get the 60MPG if you can handle getting flipped twice per gallon from mad drivers stuck behind you. Everybody seem to average the 50 MPG on freeway except those who drive hard seem to drop to around 47 MPG. So, the 51 MPG is correct driving speed limit and gentle driving behavior ...

PROS: Good handling, safe, great milage

CONS: none for me

REVIEW: I am disabled and short, and very few cars allow for my brace and equipment and still allow me close enough to the steering wheel to see where I'm going.
PROS: Car pool lane usage

CONS: MPG is not what they say

REVIEW: If you are thinking of an economical vehicle, go with the Yaris.
PROS: hybrid

CONS: power

REVIEW: This car drives pretty well in the city. I get good mileage but do not buy this car if you live in city that has a lot of hills. The great gas mileage you read is acheived with little or no up climbing. When you drive on a flat area your gas engine turns off if you just kinda cruise but if you ...

PROS: Fuel economy, headroom, hauling room, quiet ride, low emissions, vote with your dollars

CONS: seats take getting used to, too many buttons to push on screen to do basic things

REVIEW: We have had our '06 Prius for exactly one year - 20k miles on it. With 90% hwy driving we consistently average 50mpg in the rolling hills of TN. Two toddlers ride in car seats w/ plenty of room.
