PROS: Value, Warranty, Good MPG, Comfortable, Roomy, Surprising Torque from little 4cyl.

CONS: Handling on switchback mtn. roads very disappointing. Dealer service leaves much to be desired

REVIEW: Good little car. I like the economy and the get-up-and-go from a stop. The motor is suited to real-world driving which is nice after driving a lot of older Hondas where all the power is in the upper range.
The handling in mountain roads is terrible! I would rather be driving my 1988 Honda ...

PROS: had the features I wanted

CONS: gas milage not what advertised, poor acceleration, seats not comfortable,CD player skips, ride is roug

REVIEW: Be careful with Hyundai! The dealership I bought from really inflated
the price of the car when it came time to purchase. I have fought this
since last June when I purchased the car and the corporate customer service in Calif won't do a thing to help. Not only was the "sticker" ...

PROS: Good fuel economy. Very reliable. Great handling.

CONS: The CD player has been temperamental

REVIEW: I've had this car for more than 10 years and have put 179,000 miles on it. I have stuck relatively few $$ in it for repairs and replacements. It's only recently that I've had to replace the alternator (it was the original) for example.
It still looks great too. My Toyota Corolla ...

PROS: Great Highway fuel economy. Many nice features are standard such as power windows, mirrors.

CONS: Leather seats not too comfortable. Driver seat position uncomfortable on long trips (5 hour plus).

REVIEW: I would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for a basic car with lots of features for under 20,000 dollars. I love the hatch back. With the seats down, it is just like having a station wagon. For a compact car, there is quite a bit of room in the back seat.
PROS: Inexpensive (not cheap!), does what it needs to do well.

CONS: It is an economy car, what do you expect?

REVIEW: I have an '06 Elantra GLS with automatic transmission. My gas mileage is always around 26-27 city, 33-38 Highway and I check every tankful. This is the 5th Hyundai I've owned, starting with an Elantra, 2 Sonatas, a Tiburon and this car.
