PROS: Decent fuel economy for a 4WD SUV (avg 28 mpg), heated seats, great for hauling my golden retrievers

CONS: Annoying highway noise vibration if only rear windows open, roof rack cross-bars should be standard

REVIEW: I've been happy with my Escape. I've got 13,000 miles on it over the past year with no major complaints. ...

PROS: The car has great fuel economy and has met or exceeded all of our expectations

CONS: We wish it had radio controls on the steering wheel.

REVIEW: We love it and we get 31 and 32 mpg. Occasionally when we have a strong head wind and a lead foot, the mileage has dropped to 29 mpg. Overall, it has been a great car. ...

PROS: Initally city mileage 31 to 33 mpg. After 10K miles mileage is not average 37 -39

CONS: Storage areas are small compared to most SUV changed in 2008

REVIEW: Love the car and wish I would have done it sooner. Mileage continues to get better after 10K miles. City mileage currently at 37-39 consistantly. Highway mileage is 31- 34 depending on how fast and hard car is driven. To achieve better gas mileage, keep rpms below 2000.
PROS: great power, wonderful fuel economy

CONS: AC will not work in hybrid mode

REVIEW: Purchased it back in May of 2006, wonderful vehicle except for two things. When it gets very hot outside the batteries weaken causing fuel economy in our SUV to drop down to 27 mpg city and highway. Temps below 90, our SUV will avg. 30-32 mpg city and highway. In hybird mode the AC doesn't ...

I don't talk trash about the things I love!

REVIEW: I have about 15000 miles on my Escape. I love this SUV because: 1)Mileage is within 1 mpg of the advertised numbers 2) Perfect reliability so far, absolutely no "new car" issues and nothing but oil changes every 5000 miles required! 3 Quiet and good ride 5) Decent cargo volume 6) ...

PROS: Good emissions, high clearance, quiet, 110-volt AC outlet

CONS: Uncomfortable seat, poor traction, few amenities for the $30K cost, modest mileage gains

REVIEW: After 11 months and 14,000 miles, I have mixed opinions about my 2007 Escape Hybrid.

On the positive side, I am putting less nasties into the environment; the car is quiet and very effective when creeping up on a bird while bird watching at slow speeds; its superb in stop-and-go traffic; and ...

PROS: Excellent gas mileage, very comfortable ride, easy handling

CONS: Interior plastic noise on anything less than a smooth rode

REVIEW: I have own this Escape for 8 months and have 5500 miles. Gas mileage is above expectations. I have had as high as 40 MPG and as little as 30. The computer calculator always seems to be off a little but these are hand calculated mpg.
PROS: Good fuel economy for a 4WD; GPS is a kick; Comfortable, quiet

CONS: Wife believes it could have been designed to get even better mileage.

REVIEW: We have owned it now for about one month clocking 2,800 miles. Nearly half of that is one trip from Vancouver, WA to Palo Alto, CA and back at mostly freeway speed. Mileage on that trip was about 27 1/2 MPG. All around town with some highway driving is averaging 30 MPG.
