PROS: seamless tiptronic transmission, great steering, looks great

CONS: nav. system not helpful around small neigborhood streets

REVIEW: I love the car. Had gone to look at the IS-F/350 but this car is as quick as the IS-350 and more comfortable. Also, a better value than the BMW 5 series which has confusing controls/I-Drive. (The only BMW 5 w/ more horsepower is the 550 which cost $10k more than a loaded GS460.)

PROS: Great performance

CONS: Weak lumbar support

REVIEW: We have a 2006 GS300 AWD and a 2004 Mercedes Benz E500. We take the Lexus on longer road trips to minimize adding miles to the Benz, but actually I prefer to drive the E500 because it has a better Navigation system, better seat support, and it just may be a better overall engineered automobile. ...

PROS: Quiet ride, fast, super handling, nice interior and features

CONS: Squeaky brakes, interior rattles

REVIEW: In general this is a great car to drive, but I have had many issues which I would not expect to have with a $50K automobile, but have great service.

I had the dealer replace the squeaky brakes - relunctantly. Lexus still does not have a fix. My interior rattled for a year before it was removed ...

PROS: Great car, Great service from my dealer

CONS: Lexus home office folks just don't know how to fix problems

REVIEW: Second GS. First one was a disaster. Second one ('08 GS 350 awd) is much improved and has many, many state of the art features. One year now with a problem and no one at Lexus has a clue how to fix it. With the economy being the way it is, I got a sweet deal on a new 2008 GS 460 - paid what a GS 350 or Acura RL would cost.
