That’s right, billion with a ‘B,’ which is just shy of the total number of active Facebook users worldwide. Far-fetched? Of course, but Hyundai Worldwide made the promise on its Facebook page last week that if it acquired the self-determined number of “likes,” that the HCD-14 Genesis concept would head for production next year.
The HCD-14 made its first appearance at the 2013 North American International Auto show in Detroit and previewed the future look of the Genesis. It also came with a 5.0-liter V8, making for a pretty impressive ride.
So far, the “like” amount sits somewhere shy of 7,000, so, we’d say they are still way off. But head on over to the Hyundai Worldwide Facebook page and you can contribute a like, if you feel inclined.
