These are the first official images of the all-new BMW 4-Series coupe, aka, the newly-named replacement to the preceding 3-Series coupe. And while we may have seen the bolder and brasher 4-Series concept coupe late last year, the production version of which comes toned down enough to appeal to the mass market.
Taking its design cues from the current BMW lineup, the front end- from the grille to the headlights to the diffuser, all mimicking the 3-Series with a few minor adjustments. Inside, the sleek new coupe sports a 2+2 layout and with the wheelbase stretching out a bit further than the previous generation.
The top range 435i (not including the upcoming “M” variant), comes with a 3.0L twin-turbo flat-six good for 302-hp and and estimated 29.8 mpg. And yup, manual or automatic transmission is available.
BMW should reveal official details and more photos within the next few hours.
