First Look: 2013 Hyundai Genesis Coupe

Between the Los Angeles and Toyko auto shows, there's a lot of new cars to unveil, including this one: the 2013 Hyundai Genesis coupe. As shown by the corporate Facebook page, the upcoming refresh of the rear-wheel-drive bruiser from South Korea takes on the "fluidic" corporate face. It's busy up front, but a sporting improvement from the previous generation, along with a yet-to-be-revealed power bump from the current model's 210-hp turbo four-cylinder engine and a likely six-cylinder option. Hyundai enthusiasts -- a growing crowd -- want the Tau 5-liter V8 from the Genesis sedan as an optional Camaro assassin, but given Hyundai's fuel economy goals, that may be as likely to show up in a new version of Genesis as Peter Gabriel.
