First Photo: 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth

Here's the first official photo of the 2012 Fiat 500 Abarth, the pepped-up version of the Euro city car due to hit the turntables of the Los Angeles Auto Show next month. While Fiat is holding back official specs for the U.S. version, the scorpion-badged Cinquecento will come with a turbocharged 1.4-liter MultiAir engine expected to produce 170 hp when the cars roll into dealerships early next year -- a slight increase from the 160 hp sold in Europe for the past few years, and enough to give the 2,400-lb. minicar some autocross cred.
