This is my second truck from Nissan and I Love this new Pro-4X. My last Hard body pickup had over 400,000 miles on it. just regular maintenance and replacement of worn parts. it was a great truck, until my son wrecked it!

This is the first midsize truck I have owned in many years. I use this truck to pull a car trailer with no issues. It handles great and can pull a car and trailer with no problems.
It is also my daily driver and the pickup, handling and overall comfort is something I enjoy everyday.
I recently added a Western plow package to this truck, now I just need it to snow....read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

Great looking truck. This was my first truck I've gotten and I have to say I am really impressed. The power and feel of the drive is amazing. Smooth and powerful when needed. Taking the truck off road is amazing as well as the truck rides smoothly over rough terrain and handles well. I got the 2012 SV 4x4 crew cab as it also fits my family comfortably in the back and great for taking them camping in the summer when we need to go deep into the woods. Overall I love this truck and wish I would of bought one sooner!...read morehide

Overall I love this truck. First vehilcle ever bought that I did not have to take back to dealer for warranty issues when new. Does not have some of the bells and whistles that came stock with my silverado, like auto lights on and off,and daytime running lights etc.. Little things that I can live with. The engine has power and the 5 spd tranny shifts nice. The short wheel base makes it a great off road truck but not so great in high speed curves on the highway. Its and off road vehilce you cant have it all. Its a sharp looking truck in my opion, much more so than the taco and better power. Visiblity is great, not too many blind spots, however I notice when backing in a parking spot it is hard to judge where the back bumper is because of the flared fenders, give yourself some extra room when backing in. The rockford forsgate sound system kicks #$%$ with its 9 speakers, and I love the full instrumentation with the white background on the pro 4x
I would recommend the truck to anyone who needs a small to midsize off road pick up...read morehide1 out of 1 people found this review helpful.

Purchased new with all bells and whistles. Everything I wanted plus what the wife wanted. We took a long trip with a car carrier [Sear's X-load] in the box using the floor tiedown rails. Wonderful, rode great and down where you can get into it with out a ladder. I wish we had gotten it sooner. The Bluetooth was great! Hands free talking! The V6 power is there whenever you want....read morehide

- Cons
- A little tight in rear seat leg room

As simple as this sounds , I would of preferred a crome bumper on SV model as on prior years. They only come painted unless you go for SL modlel and maybe you do not need an SL. It makes it look more like a Pathfinder instead of a truck. When back bumper is crome and front is painted ,should of keep it crome unless getting sport model or make it an option. Truck though is very good .Recommend premium options as I got ....read morehide

I think that the Nissan frontier is a great truck. It has a lot of power with the 4.0 litre v6 Generating 261 horsepower and 280 ftlp of torque. The one thing that bummed me a little bit was they need to have a Diesel.but I con sitter the frontier to
Be a outstanding truck. So I recommend the Nissan frontier....read morehide2 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

- Pros

- Cons
- Automatic transmission is a little vague

After owning 12 Toyota trucks over the years, bought this truck because of problems with toyotas reliability in the V6 and the Valve issues with the 2.7L at about 170K. The Frontier is exactly what I was looking for. the 4WD works great and the ride is better than the toyotas. Tows well and and has great passing power. gas mileage is 18-23 and is what you would expect. Bought the appearance package in blue and with the rebates and deals was able to get it for under 22K. For a crew cab this works for me. Should have bought this sooner....read morehide

I have 93,000 miles on the 2010 truck and it's 2.5 years old. Only work done is new tires and battery. Still drives and rides like new.
