- Acceleration, lots of room, good for off roading
- GAS AND ONLY
The brakes havent gaven me a problem at all idk why these people are tripping. But after i did about 20 or more donuts in the desert my rear broke but thats common sense ehh? The gas is horrible tho it should and could be better. But i go OFF ROADING AND 4X4ING and it hasnt gaven me a problem at all. The main proplem if you ask me is the dealer ship they had to replace the transmission cuz they forgot to put fluid into it. But why would u have to pay anything for the truck ??? its been out since 04 and its only 05 dont you people BELIEVE IN A WARRANTY??and it comes with a few so if something does happen. Then u with brake problems you slowingdown earlier then when the car infront of you stops? and just adjust the pedals. But if that gives you a problem to i suggest getting new brakes. Also GET A WARRANTY thats it the nissan titan is a great truck tho accept wen u do donuts etc.... oh and i have 42,000 miles on it and its an 04....read morehide

- Good looks, fast truck, lots of room in quad cab
- exhaust could be quiter, interior could use less plastic, mirrors are too big
I have had my 05 Titan for 3 months and have about 3,000 miles, I have yet to have a problem and I am fairly pleased with the truck as a whole.
I think for the price, Nissan could have done a better job on the interior of the truck, much too many plastic pieces and the seating material is lousy. Place anything on the seat and stop quick, and you will be pulling what ever it was off the dash.
Exhaust is a little loud, long trips and it will start to wear on you. And what is it with these huge mirrors? I went through a toll booth and it was a good thing the truck is higher than the basket, because I would have hit it....read morehide

- BREAKS, GAS, TRANSMISSION.
THIS TRUCK IS A PIECE OF JUNK! DONT EVER BUY IT. AFTER A MONTH OR SO THE BRAKE ROTORS WEARS OFF, AFTER THAT EVERY MONTH I GOTTA SPEND OVER $100 ON THE TRUCK, NISSAN IS CRAP!

This is by far the best 1/2 ton truck on the planet!! The only truck I would buy in place of the 2005 SE Titan would be a Diesel Titan!!

- Power, driveability, interior space.
- Brake recall on early models.
I shopped available crew cabs and decided on the Titan, and 35K miles later I am very happy with my decision. I chose the Titan for power, towing capacity, room in the crew cab, and Nissan's reputation for reliablity. The optional bed package is a great add-on. I was somewhat uncertain about buying a new model, but there have been only a couple of minor fixes. Nissan fixed the "brake judder" problem and a couple of other glitches, and the truck has been perfectly reliable. I would say there were fewer initial problems than with other trucks I have owned (Chev, GMC, Ford)....read morehide

- Towing power, Off-road pkg. electronic locker, quick handling, off-road abilities, and comfort.
- Brake issue has been resolved with Nissan redesign. Although they were rationed at first.
I would not trade my Titan for any vehicle period, (unless I could sell it for another, newer Titan with all the same options I have). Kicks butt on-road and off!
I feel a lot safer for my family knowing I have the side curtain air bags, and with the Big Tow package I can tow up to around 9000 lbs. 2wd Titans with BT, can pull 9500 lbs! Yes, if I was going to tow this much regularly, I'd go for a 3/4 ton diesel, but the Titan consistently take top honors in magazine comparisons to all other 1/2 ton trucks towing included.
BTW the old brake design worked fine. The new ones are not dusty, and Nissan also extended Brake Warranty to 3 yr./unlimited mileage :)...read morehide

- Everything! Best Vehicle I've ever owned.
- 13 months and 11,000 miles and haven't found any yet!
Love the Truck, it's fast, comfortable, a monster at towing and just an overall blast to drive. I have not experienced any brake problems what so ever. I have heard that there are some brake issues, but they are not saftey related at all. And Nissan has recognized the problem and has come up with a fix. They have also extended the brake warranty. If you want the best truck on the market go drive a Titan and that will explain it all. They people with the negative reviews probley have never been happy with any vehicle. :-) Check out www.TitanSpot.com to get real Titan owners views. And check out some Ford, Chevy and Dodge forums to see that they too have there problems. :-) Thanks for reading.

- Great power, great at towing, roomy cab
- Don't really have any
I have had trucks from the other American manufacturers, (Yes, the truck is built in the USA) and although they wrere ok, I wanted something better. The Dodges have way too high a step-in, and they Chevys are great trucks but in my area they are like $8000 more than everybody else's truck. Plus the abuse you take when you go into the dealership has just turned me off. I was treated horribly by Ford over simple warranty issues on my vehicle (arbitration, for Pete's sake, over a radio that failed 100 miles out of warranty) and will never go back.
The short story is that I have one of the very earliest ones made. I have 40,000 miles on it and have had a very good experience with my Titan. Yeah, I had my brakes replaced, but Nissan did a good job with the work and I have confidence in the truck. I tow a 7,000# travel trailer frequently and this truck performs extremely well as a tow vehicle plus it's a hoot to drive when it's not hooked up. Nobody other than Nissan and the Big 3 can tow a trailer like this. You'll bust one of the other little trucks.
Nissan went back to their '60s roots on this truck. What other truck can claim to handle like a sports car with a pickup bed in the back....read morehide
