Well i have pounded this truck pretty good. I hae used it all winter to drive on the sand no problem. Belive me i saw alot of full size american trucks stuck. Mid size toys rule but for full size this truck is damn close. Rode some busted up muddy roads ,ride was smooth no rattling lots of room for gear. Went up some slick hills and rocky ones as well, it handled. OFF Road package was well worth it. Didnt have to loc diff yet. For a new truck i really worked it hard sure i didnt pound it in mudd bogs and really crazy conditions but still had no problems. use it as my daily driver and handles real nice on road. I will post if i ever have a problem. Really happy that i bought this truck....read morehide

- power for towing enclosed trailer & 4x4 mileage is great
- brakes & little engine noise at idle
I got the 1st 4x4 & LE crew cab in lbb Tx and didn't know what to expect other then the power. I was a Ford pu person but not now. This truck is great & fun to drive. I even raced it at the dragstrip & showed what it can do. Dealership has been really great to work with as they really want you to be satisfied with the PU. I have 50,000 miles on my 04 & have ordered another LE loaded & will enjoy it as I have the other.
They keep thier value when you take care of them not like some other trucks.
Thanks Nissan...read morehide

- Room, ride, looks, sound
- fuel mileage
Wow - I've always owned Ford F-150s, but got tired of the recent problems with recalls and build quality. A couple test drives in the Titan sold me. The best thing in my mind making the purchase is that every Titan is made in America!
Tows my 6,700 lb boat like there's nothing back there and holds the whole family comfortably. I highly recommend it....read morehide

- Tremendous Power, power back window, 6 disc cd player, bright headlights, big rims and tires.
- Gets between 14 and 16 mpg.
I've always baught American made vehicles and it makes me mad that to get my moneys' worth nowadays I have to buy a Japanese vehicle. I have not had a bit of trouble with the brakes, in fact they work great. Whatever problem Nissan was having with them must have been solved. This truck has awesome power and a smooth ride. It also has the quietest interior of any truck Iv'e driven. The factory stereo is great too. No need to get the Rockford Fosgate system. I looked at Ford, Chevy, and Dodge and none of them have as much room in the back seat as the Titan. This truck may have 40hp less than the Dodge Hemi but you would never know it. I have 6000mi on mine now and I can't think of one thing I don't like about it except for the fuel economy and it's not that it's bad, it's just not so good. Some might not like the exhaust noise. It is a little louder than most....read morehide

- Great look, a lot of room inside, smooth ride
- freaky alarm
We just bought our 2006 Titan last week with 38 miles on it. We were told that this was just the basic model with no keyless entry and that the truck was not equipped with an alarm system. We were fine with that until we brought it home. I went outside to get something out of the glovebox so I unlocked the passenger side door. The alarm that we didn't have on the truck started going off! Horn blaring, lights flashing the whole nine yards. I figured stick the key in and start it up real quick and it will shut off. No luck. Then we figured out the only way to shut it off was to unlock the driver side door. So far Nissan has been no help. Their only solution is to disconnect the alarm and they are contacting manufacturing in Atlanta to make sure if they do that they won't screw up any of the other electrical parts or features. When I heard that I was like, I don't think so. Figure out why there is an alarm on the car and get me a remote for it. My answer has been that is just how it is and I have to deal with it. I am thinking about giving back my truck if they don't come up with a better solution. Anyone else having this issue? Other than that I love my truck and I would hate to get rid of it....read morehide

- GREAT fuel economy 15 in the city and 21 on hwy
After doing my homework for a new truck I narrowed it down to the Titan crew cab and Dodge 1500 quad cab. You get much more for your money with the Titan. When the Titan first debuted Nissan had to iron out some brake issues, but since then the problem has been resolved with the 06's and late 05 models. The Crew cab has unbelievable space in the back, which helped me consider this truck along with it being made in America unlike the Dodge USA/Mexico. The Titan's performance is unmatched and is now our primary family vehicle.........read morehide

- Powerful, comfortable, build quality, nice looking
- Engine noise
I purchased LE 4x4 crew cab with every option available. I have put 8,000+ miles on it so far and I like it very much. Maybe I am lucky, I have never experienced any problem not even a single one, and everything is working perfectly. The gas mileage is not as bad as I expected, 15 MPG according to the on-board trip computer (not bad for such large truck). Brakes and AC are excellent just as other mechanical aspects. It is my primary family car now....read morehide

- Lots of room (headroom-I'm 6'3") and back seat area. Best I've ever had. Powerful vehicle.
- Haven't found any yet.
I wish it came with a manual transmission. My wife loves the comfortable passenger seat. The ride is smooth and comfortable. No shake up when going over bumps. It's quiet inside- you can hear the radio! I may even begin to forget my Audi 5000. Now that's saying a lot!
