- The most underestimated truck in the segment!!!!!!!
- No cons.
This is probably the most underestimated vehicle in it's segment - period!!!!! Great style, power/torque and features, yet you hardly see these on the road. Just go drive this truck for yourself and you'll also wonder why you don't see more of these on the road.

- Ride and power is excellent plus you set up higher than most trucks which makes visibility excellent
- Stereo reflection in the back glass at night is annoying. No lights on cruise control buttons.
I have only had my Nissan Titan for a short time. I got the King Cab because of the longer bed. Would have opted for the Crew if the longer bed was offered in the 07. Hear that is going to be an offering in the new 08 models.
This truck out performs just about every other truck on the road with the exception of the higher priced bigger V8's that are OPTIONAL on the Dodges, Fords, Chevys and Toyotas. But, with the bigger optional engines pushes the price way above what I paid for the standard 5.6L in the Titan. And the torque on this engine is unbelievable for such a small V8. I have driven all the full size trucks with the exception of the Toyota with the 5.7 and I can tell you. None even comes close to pinning you back in the seat like the Titan. I went from a 05 Dodge Dakota with the biggest engine you could get in it. The 4.7 V8. I could not believe the difference. I did everything to my Dakota you could do to increase the gas mileage. K&N filter system, dual exhaust, Tornado FuelSaver and Mobil 1 synthetic oil and It would still only get around 16.5 to 17 MPG on the road and around 13 in town. I have only checked the Titan's mileage 3 times and it has been consistantly 16.5 to 17 with mixed driving conditions.( I expect it will do better once broken in a little more. Only has 1200 miles on it)My Dakota would have only gotten around 15 under the same conditions.
The Titan drives more like a car to me also. Ride and handling is excellent for a truck. And it is one of the easiest vehicles to see out of and handles great in heavy high speed traffic of Nashville.
I do have a few qwerks with the truck. But nothing really major. I got the regular 6CD changer. Sounds pretty good for a standard stock stereo. The reflection of the stereo in the back glass is a little annoying at night. Could use a higher arm rests on the doors. Top of the door is too high and the arm rest on the doors are to low. Makes it a little hard to get a comfortable position.
To sum it up. If I had it to do all over again. I would get the same truck but, would add the utility package and the Rockford Fosgate audio system. And would still pay less for it than another brand with comparable options....read morehide

- all the room inside, plus the extra doors, proximity alert while in reverse
- MPG, cheap feel of knobs in cab
I wasn't expecting to buy such a large vehicle, but being out here in California they were really cheap (3000 off MSRP). Having said that, I have been pleasantly suprised at the ride. The roads in California are some of the worst in the country and the ride is quite smooth for a truck. I have all the storage room I could ever want, plus, I can pull into traffic easily with the 317 HP. The MPG isn't great, I expected that with a V8, but my commute is only 5 miles. Overall, I have been pleased....read morehide
