2008 Nissan Titan King Cab

- Lots of extras for the $$. Strong V8 & smooth tranny.
- Not as quiet as the F-150. Not as fast as the Tundra
I am a little biased toward Fords. I own 2 Broncos and my 78 is my pride and joy, but..... The Nissan Pro-4x King Cab was by far the best overall truck for the money. I made an offer on an F-150 FX-4 and I think I am glad I did not buy it. The power of the Nissan V8 really makes the F-150 look bad. I ended up with the spray in bed liner, tie down system, leather interior with all the extras for many thousands less than the Ford. I drove the Toyota and I really liked a lot of things about it, but for me to get all the features I wanted I was going to have to pay for a lot of other features that I did not want. The only feature I wanted in my Nissan that I did not get was the power sliding rear window. I was going to have to spend $6,000 more than the Nissan to get the same features on the Toyota and some of the features I got on the Nissan are not even available on the Toyota The Yotas engine and 6-speed did feel like it had more power than the Nissan. I think Toyota has over done the whole size issue. The new Tundra is almost too big for a 1/2 ton. If you have ever driven a Hummer H1 then you know what it is like to be in a huge interior cabin and still have a lot of wasted space....
The Nissan has a much better motor than the Ford or Dodge Hemi. The Ford and the Dodge were both sluggish compared to the Titan. For a 1/2-ton 4x4 truck the Nissan has the best mix of features for the money. I really like the bed liner and tie down system and all the storage options for the Titan.
