- Pros
- Great looking, excellent engine, Best are I have ever had
- Cons
- Interoir scrathes way too easy. Suspension is VERY hard
Purchased As Used
Bought a red one with black leather used- 2,500 miles young on it. Waited 4 years for the car. Love it, never any issues, get compliments all the time. 50 more horsepower would be nice as the car is a tad heavy, but the 300 it has now certainly does the job! Highly recommened.

- Pros
- Great handling, acceleration, braking, style, exhaust note, interior fit and design.
- Cons
- Slight rattle, wind noise with top up, cheap paint on door handle and some fixtures.
Purchased As Used
Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. Got an '06 Enthusiast Roadster with Brembo brakes, Bose sound system and leatherette seats.
The acceleration is smooth and the engine purr is just sexy. Nothing to complain about there.
The car hugs the corners and the steering is very responsive. Replacement brakes and tires are going to be expensive, but this is a true sports car. I hear a slight roar/rumble when the car slows down....but that may be from the road and not due to the car.
When the top is up, I get a noticeable amount of windnoise...which is expected from a soft top convertible....and it's also used.
The Bose system is excellent. I don't really understand the complaints because it produces great lows and highs. The speaker behind the driver's seat gives great bass and adds a nice kick.
The thing that bothers me most about the car is the cheap acrylic paint used on the door handle and some of the interior fixtures. The pieces are gray and painted black..so when you scratch it, it's really obvious...and it scratches pretty darn easily. However...the dealership offered to repaint it for me.
There is no adjustable lumbar support....but the bucket seats still wrap around your body.
Don't expect to buy anything other than groceries with this car. Will not hold more than a small suit case and backpack. Good thing it fits my golf bag....
With that said, I love this car. It looks great...especially with the top down. Looks, feels, and responds aggressively....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- The looks and complements I get. Endless power on acceleration.
- Cons
- Few too many bad parts and no loaner car from Nissan dealers.
Couldn't be happier than the day I bought my Z, got many complements on the Interlagos Fire paint job (Violet) that costs a few hundreds more but to me it's a delightful color choice that's worth the money.
Great engine power that feels endless on accelerations as long as you don't shift under 4k rev. Super smooth at high speeds and feels tight on turns.
When comparing this car to what many other people have normally compare it to, the Z4, S2000 and RX8, the Z is definitely heavy, thus feels heavier on corners and take offs, I think this is the trade off for the smooth ride on the highways at 90MPH, it does not shake or vibrate that could feel like a car is going out of control.
I have to say that since I got my car in February of 06, it has been back in the dealer's shop for one too many warrenty repairs for me. Had a bad crank position sensor in 7 month, a bad fuel sending unit and replaced the whole fuel tank in 9 month, and now the infamous oil burning problem that had me going back to the dealers 4 times already and they still couldn't fix the problem.
I still appreciate the fun and joy this car has given me but Nissan needs to have better quality control in their cars.
I guess in the end, if they could sell 300 horse powers for under $30k the consumers need to be aware some trade-offs it comes with, like the problems I have been having....read morehide4 out of 4 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- fuel economy for the performance, price, car is a work of art
- Cons
- no 2+2 model, bad blind spots, base model should have cruise control
this car is a masterpiece!!! i have a 2006 350z base, and have owned the car for a year and i love it!!! the handling and acceleration are very impressive. before i bought this car i test drove a 2006 ford mustang gt for 2 days and the mustang is a beautiful car, but compared to the z, it is not a well built, or designed car at all. plus the z will kick the mustangs ass all day long!!! one thig nissan needs to do is give the z more torque, because i have run into 2002 camaro ss's, gto's and corvettes and they are torque monsters!!! i whipped the camaro, but the gto and the vette ... i got my ass handed to me. if there are any nissan executives or designers reading this, just so you know, the car is great, but get rid of the blind spots, get more torque than horsepower so you can compete in the stoplight to stoplight wars!!!! not everyone can control the clutch and shifter in a 350z like a pro. remember this car is in america, the home of the 1320, and right now the z is on the cusp, just get the z more torque and a 2+2 version and i will guarantee that you will make other hardcore pony car guys like me believers in the z heritage....read morehide

- Pros
- I love the way she handles, she grabs on the corners just right. A very nice & firm grip.
- Cons
- It would be nice to have cruise control sometimes. Weak E-brakes, how am I supposed to drift? huh!
I love my car, bought it the first month of 2006, no regrets what so ever. But does anybone else have an E-brake problem? I parked it on my driveway once, and pulled the e-brakes up pretty tight and snugged. All of a sudden it started rolling back slowly, & I was already out the car. Almost gave me a heart attack. But I will never stop loving my fairladyZ, My 1st Z was a 1990, loved it, It was a shame someone had to steal it....read morehide

- Pros
- Looks good, feels strong, great power.
- Cons
- Weird "jerk" at around 37 mph. Uneven tire wear.
I've had a 1986 and now have a 2004 and have absolutely loved them both. It's a great car that feels strong and goes as fast as you want to go. L.A. to Vegas in just under 3 hours, baby!!! My dealership is awesome and have replaced tires for free and fuel hose was changed with the recall. No major issues to speak of other than that. I'm a Nissan fan for life....read morehide

- Pros
- Exceleration is nice and loves to be driven hard and fast
- Cons
- Some what rough ride and a bit tight interior.
Folks, I've owned two 03's and they were hampered with front end problems and rough rides. Best miliage I received from front tires were 2,800 miles. That right, just above 2000 miles! Nissan made it good and paid for the four sets of front tires before I traded it in for the 06. Ride is better, no front tire issues and love the automatic. Not as quick as my standard but no shifting. I feel the 05 and 06 are better cars then the first two year models. NISMO cold air intake is still under review. Sounds better but may need to use your imagination to feel the increase power. Windshield is a Rock catcher!...read morehide
