OK, this is NOT going to compare to some super car, but for the money, I doubt you'll find a quicker, better handling car that is more fun to drive. The car is a bit noisy but, it's a sports car, not a family sedan. You're not going to fit your 300+ lb brother in law in this baby, but that's what pickups are for right? Fuel economy can be excellent ( around 28 mpg) or dismal (in the teens) depending on how you drive it. Many compare it to the Ford Mustang and Chevy Camaro. This Nissan is better balanced and it's overall performance, (braking, handling and acceleration) is superior. The manula transmission works great and the low first gear makes it easy to drive in traffic without having to smoke the clutch or deal with ferocious roll back during take offs on hills. Most people seem to have automatics, but in a sports car, I prefer a manual. It just adds to the driving experience. Let's face it. This is a sports car, if you can't handle the nuances of a sports car,t he Nissan Altima coupe would be a better choice.
But if you are looking for a fun to drive car that won't break the bank, the "Z" is an excellent choice.
