I got this car after seeing one at the mall. Ive had quite a few people who wanted to know what it was or to tell me how nice it looks. Nissan did a great job with this one. You can even take it out of drive and shift the gears.
I just love driving it!!0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Pros
- APPEARANCE, VALUE, HANDLING
- Cons
- DIFFICULT FOR BACK SEAT PASSENGER ACCESS BUT IF YOU GET A COUPE YOU DON'T USUALLY CARRY A FULL LOAD

THE ALTIMA COUPES' APPEARANCE EQUALS AND EXCEEDS THE HIGHER PRICED LEXUS, TOYOTA AND VOLVO COUPES. THE STABILITY AND HANDLING MAKE IT A JOY TO DRIVE AND THE 2.5 CVT SURPRISES WITH ITS' POWER AND ACCELERATION WHILE PROVIDING ECONOMICAL CITY AND HIGHWAY GAS MILEAGE. I HAPPILY DISCOVERED THE ALTIMA COUPE BY A FLUKE AS IT IS RARELY ADVERTISED BY NISSAN AS MUCH AS THE SEDAN MODEL. WHEREVER I DRIVE OR PARK THE ALTIMA COUPE, HEADS TURN. ADD THE OPTIONAL REAR SPOILER TO COMPLETE THE SPORTY, STAND OUT LOOK. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED....read morehide

This is my third Nissan Altima in 12 years. I still have my 2001 with 184,000 miles. My original brakes lasted to 140,000 along with nearly all original equipment.
Fast forward to 2011 - the 3.5 Coupe in black with black leather and all packages is phenomenal! Nissan really did well on this design. Two people have stopped me on the street to take pictures.
The car is very sharp looking, sporty and runs well (2800 miles in less than 2 months). I get 31-32 mpg on the freeway! It handles very well and in sport transmission is fun to drive on winding roads etc. A lot of car for the money! Highly recommend it....read morehide5 out of 18 people found this review helpful.

Sure, it's sporty, looks nice, and performs well...when it's not a lemon. At less than 1700 miles, my coupe had all brakes/rotors replaced 4 times, the battery replaced twice, several electrical problems, and now the paint is peeling! Cheap interior components are warping in 90 degree weather. After 1.5 years, Nissan admits my car is a lemon and is only offering $64 for my rental reimbursement (while my car was at several different dealerships for brake/rotor repairs) and over 100+ hours of lost wages. Don't buy a Nissan; it's not worth the stress....read morehide
