Love this car, rides great, handles great. I have the black w/red interior..2.5S ..couldn't be sharper..Installed the Nismo cat-back exhaust and picked up 10hp at least..much faster off the start now..Seats are very comfortable and nav is great and easy to use..This car can be a luxury car or a sports car..all depends how you feel like driving each day......read morehide

- Pros
- Really love the ride. Great gas milage over 32 MPG, Get lot of comments on the Red color.
- Cons
- The breaks suck.
Purchased As New
I bought it new in 2009. Had an initial problem with the rack and pinion steering and after three trip they finally replaced the rack which fixed the problem. The breaks are another story. The standard breaks that Nissan puts on the car are horrible. They start squeeling early on. The dealer replaced them one and turned the rotars another time. Finally I just had an entire break job done at Merchant's Auto and Tire and now they are perfect. No more squeeling breaks. I get over 30 MPG average and the car is very comfortable. Some people complain about back seat comfort but I don't dit back there so who cares....read morehide

- Pros
- Great fuel economy, comfortable quiet ride,
- Cons
- back seat is tight
Purchased As New
We bought this car a month ago and couldn't be happier with it. We got the top of the line V6 with all the trimmings, leather, tech package, premium package. Interior is comfortable and quiet, exterior is stylish and sleek. I was concerned about the CVT transmission prior to driving it but it has plenty of pep and will get you to highway speeds in a big hurry. Like mentioned, the back seat is a little tight, but I don't ride back there anyway. I'd buy another one for sure. Great car...read morehide

- Pros
- Fuel Economy, Overall Value, Safety Features
- Cons
- Back seat is a little small

The Altima as a coupe is excellently styled (although I think Nissan could focus more on "sportiness"). It translates extremely well into a coupe from the sedan version. The 4 cylinder feels strong and the 6 cylinder is downright nasty! You will love this car.
