- Pros
- Excellent fuel economy. Getting 35 mpg
- Cons
- Little shutter going to EV mode. Trunk a little small.

Excellent front and back interior room with a quick engine. I am getting greater than 37 mpg on freeway and 35 mpg stop and go traveing to work. Excellent sound system.
Would liked to have an option for bluetooth on basic model. The side mirrors seem a bit jumpy/not precise.
To get this level of comfort with mpg you would need to buy a much more expensive Lexus....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

I have had multiple issues with this car. Slow, and poorly made. Too many issues the car has been in the shop 3 times in the past 5 months for too many reasons. The last time I brought this car in they found more issues and I had to get another car for a week so they could fix them. You better believe I will get rid of this car before the Nissan stops paying for these issues and I have to pay for them. This car is a Lemon don't buy it!!!...read morehide

- Pros
- Great MPGs! Perfect In the City. Amazing Commuter Car,
- Cons
- Small Trunk, Sudden changes from EV mode to Gas
Purchased As Used
I bought this car used for work at arond 16K with very low miles (20K). I travel extensively and needed much better mileage than what my small SUV was providing. I liked that fact that it looks more like a full-size vehicle than a prius-like 'roach on wheels'.
It is great for driving long distances. My only dislikes are the small trunk space and the sudden changes from EV mode to Gas engine mode. It is a little jaring, but you get used to it.
Wish they sold these in all 50 states....read morehide0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

- Excellent MPG, comfort, smooth, value
- Cons
- Smaller trunk then the regular Altima, due to hybrid battery space

Wow, I bought a new Honda Accord for my wife, and a new 2010 Nissan Altima Hybrid for my son. We like the Altima so much better then the Accord. It is much less noisy then the Accord, gets significantly better gas mileage, and looks better, and more up to date. The interior finish is much more upgraded then our Accord LX, eventhough we bought the standard hybrid version of the Altima. Even the sound system kicks butt over our LX. And the real kicker is this: we bought the Altima for $22,200 out the door...less the $2,350 rebate from the IRS, which brought our net cost down to $19,850.....$1000 less then we paid for the Honda LX. We wish we had two of the Altima's instead of one. Extremely pleased with this vehicle!!!!!...read morehide

I purchased my 2011 Hybrid three months ago. I am very impressed with the new technology and performance of this car. I average 35 Mpg and it handles extremely well with 198 horsepower . MSRP was $35,050 and purchased it for $27,356. It has the nav sys, BOSE stereo system, 10 gb internal music memory, push button start, keyless entry, leather, sunroof. I would highly suggest this car to anyone that likes a sporty look with great gas mileage!...read morehide

I have a 2009 Nissan Altima Hybrid. i average anywhere from 35-40 mpg. so fun to drive and the Hybrid battery is fantastic. I am hooked with the Hybrid technology and i will never go back to the conventional engine ever again!

I have had my Altima Hybrid for almost a year now, and I am absolutely shocked at how much I like this car! I was in the market for a Hybrid because of the obvious reasons (environment, MPGs), but the Prius was marked way too high for what I was willing to pay for a car like that. I decided to check out the Altima, and I was pleasantly surprised with how quick it is (faster than the base V4 model because of the hybrid engine), and how responsive the handling was. An added advantage was the safety specs. As a first time dad, that was what bought me in. The Altima has the highest in class safety rating, and is not a small bubble car like the Prius or Civic Hybrid. In addition, I have never heard any complaints from people sitting in the backseat about the leg room. The trunk is small, however, I can still fit my baby's stroller as well as other essential items. The styling and MPGs is not as good as the Prius, but for what you pay, this car is untouchable!...read morehide

This car looks great, gets fantastic mileage, and is a blast to drive (great handling, comfortable, etc.). Great value, especially with the dealer incentives. While I had read reviews that claims that the car is rough shifting in and out of hybrid mode, I find that the minor noise improves the driving experience, as I feel connected to the car and the road.
Best car I've purchased in 26 years!...read morehide3 out of 12 people found this review helpful.
