Purchased As New
I just traded in my 2008 maxima for this car. I didn't think I could "down grade" but I'm very happy that I did. I got this car fully loaded. The two things it doesn't have that I will miss are the seat memory positions and the heated stearing wheel. Other than that, which isn't really a complaint against the Altima, it might be the best car I've yet to own.
My previous cars were a 75' celica, 83' RX7, 94' S10, 97' Tacoma, 02' WRX, 04' Galant, 05' Eclipse, 05' Sentra Spec V and an 08' Maxima.
It amazes me that a lot of complainers are giving bad reviews because of the dealers. #$%$ is wrong with you? You should be reviewing the car and not the dealer. If you have a bum dealership than give them the bad rating and not the car. It's not Nissan's fault that a dealership has a crabby old drunk being an #$%$ to the customers. Do I hate Starbucks because one person messed up my coffee one time? No! So get over it people!
Now....back to the car.
Minus the scratch a neighborhood kid put in the passengers door already, this is a beautiful work of art. The inside of my car is black leather with a nice looking, almost carbon fiberish, dash. It looks tough with it's red/orange dash lights, the back up camera is a nice touch, and the nav system seems to be great so far.
I don't hear any noises that shouldn't be. And compared to my 08' maxima and all the other cars I've owned (not including ones my ex wife and gf's have owned) I think it's pretty quiet too. Seriously though, if you like the looks and the price then go test drive one. That should be the first thing you do with any consideration of a car purchase.
Go drive one!
