2008 Nissan Armada User Reviews
SE 4X4 shown
- $15,969 - $20,170
- Very spacious, quiet smooth ride, top notch interior
- gas (with current prices)
The 08 Armada is a top notch vehicle. I traded an 05 Armada for the 08. The interior is over the top. The 08 dash, rear, and front bumper are the only diffrence. The massive chrome is missing off the bumpers but its ok. It gives it more of the Infinity SUV elligant look. Its excellent on the highway. The Nissan Armada has the most bang for your buck hands down. It goes toe to toe with the other big body SUV's. The best SUV out, or this would not be my second Armada....read morehide

- EXCELLENT STEERING RESPONSE, 2ND ROW SEATS HAVE PLENTY OF LEG ROOM, GREAT ACCELERATION
- WIFE WILL NOT LET ME DRIVE
WE TEST DROVE THE YUKON, TAHOE AND SEQUOIA. COMPARED TO THE ARMADA THE YUKON AND TAHOE WERE A LET DOWN IN ACCELERATION, HIGHWAY DRIVING AND OPTIONS. THEY FELT EXTREEMELY TOP HEAVY AND THE STEERING WAS NOT VERY RESPONSIVE. THE SEQUOIA WAS CLOSER IN THOSE REGARDS BUT STILL NOT AS GOOD BUT WITH A MUCH HIGHER PRICE TAG. COMFORTNESS AND LEG ROOM ARE BIG FOR ME. I AM 6'7" AND I HAVE PLENTY OF LEG ROOM WHEN I SIT IN THE 2ND ROW. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH OUR CHOICE IN PURCHASING THE ARMADA. IT IS A GREAT SUV....read morehide

- Riding comfort is superb even at 85 mph curve road, easy & smooth handling,
- 12 mpg consumption is a setback
My wife was intimidated by the size but after a test drive, she fell in love and wanted to trade her altima to me.

- plenty of interior space, rides very smooth, standard safety features, quiet cabin
- rear exterior door handles to high for smaller children, rear view mirror too small
We just bought the 2008 model, SE 4x2 trim. Nissan has really out done themselves on this one. The exterior alone is in a class of it's own. The vehicle ride is smooth, there is no road noise and the cabin is quiet. If you like road trips, this is the vehicle. Rear passengers will love the ample leg space and reclining seats. The V8 engine definitely delivers. I compared the likes of tahoe, sequoia, durango and expediton. For the money, reliability, (and i will mention again) interior space, the Armada sold us.
Overall, if you are in the market for a full size SUV that commands respect, look no further. You will turn heads in this one. Nissan delivers on this one....read morehide

- Space, smooth, powerful, rides like a luxury car, easy to manuever
2 months of research before I decided to buy it. Well worth the wait, by the time I decided to purchase the 2007 the 2008 came in. Slight difference, but still awesome. The best price, comfort, for this size SUV.
