- Fuel economy never meets claimed levels: no matter what driving style, Too much understeer at speed.
Nothing but the FX from Nissan's luxury sister brand, Infinity, looks or handles like the Murano!
I've owned my Black SE Awd Murano (with the orang-ish 'Cabernet' leather interior) for 6 months and I'm still ecstatic with the decision.
She corners like she's trying to be a 911, and refuses to ever lose grip, even in ice and snow! Acceleration feels much slower than the actual 7+ second 0-60 times due to the seamless CVT tranny. If you're prone to speeding this beauty is your nemesis, but you'll love the trip!
The Bose Sound System exceeds all expectation, and I love the 6-CD in dash Stereo. I can't empathize with the complaints about road noise because I'm loving the interior 'noise' so much!
I'm 6'2" and yet sit comfortably in every seat position.
My only complaint is that my gas mileage has yet to reach the advertised level of 20 mpg in the city. I hover around 17 mpg even with the most conservative driving style. Highway driving has been much better (if I don't speed much) at around 26 mpg.
The only thing I'd change is the fuel economy (but 50+ more horsepower would hurt either).
Overall, a stellar entry in an otherwise bland car market!...read morehide

- Excellent car , smooth ride, strong brake, have no problem at all .Better than X5(BMW)
Gas mileage around 16 (city),20(highway),maybe because of break in.
