I love a bargain. It has the guts of the much pricier SL and LE at a price of a Honda CRV. If you can forego leather (cloth is very comfortable and handsome to boot), sun roof (never opened my old one), electric seats (once I set it I never move the seat anyway), power hatch (come on, who can't open a rear hatch without an electric motor), auto lights (ditto), electric rear seat return (double ditto), and rain sensing wipers, you can save $7k. I did really want the Bose but after listening to the standard unit in the S, I decided it sounded damn good (truthfully not quite up to the Bose but surprisingly close). I don't think there's anything else out there as big, quiet, luxurious, or with an engine and drive-train to compare for under $30k. Most things under $30k are 4bangers. No, the S doesn't have all the bells and whistles, but if you're serious about saving some bucks, this vehicle does everything well you really need. When the day comes I can't turn on the lights or wipers I will quit driving....read morehide
