The body position to the gas pedal is uncomfortable - The fire fall on the driver side is to far out and you right leg is on an angle to the gas pedal and brake pad. I have sent an email to Nissan with negative results.

I have place nitrogen in the tires an get very evenly wear with very little lost of pressure. and receive a very comfortable ride....read morehide

purchased new after trading in 2011 XTerra which never came close to getting the mileage Nissan claimed. Drove this one cross country from Nevada to Florida and averaged 33 mpg. Front and back seat have ample room for adults. wheel bases easily clears the speed bumps that our old Altima would scrape bottom on. Very pleased overall....read morehide

Purchased the Special edition - very comfortable ride - loaded with features. VERY NOISY - The sport switch could very easily be mounted on the steering wheel, but for some reason Nissan decided to mount it on the console. So, if you want to activate the sport switch, you must take your eyes off the road and look for the switch. The radio / CD control is on the steering wheel and that is very easily accessed. The cruise control is on the opposite side of the steering wheel and there is room under the settings for the sport switch...read morehide

i have owned my SL AWD Rogue since november 2007 (the first model year) and now have 125,000 miles on it. aside from regular maintenance, I have not had any mechanical failures with the car. it's been very reliable and will most likely buy another one or maybe the juke.

I have had my Rogue over 2 months now,and I love it. I traded in my 2006 clunky Cobalt for reliability, comfort, and better features. It's been 2 months and she still gets double takes not only from me, but friends and family. I am a petite woman, so the cabin space is plentiful, there is a tiny blind spot on the passenger side, but it's not terrible. I got this Rogue on lease main reason to enjoy the out doors great for fishing, rear side compartment with Velcro lids are great. I wish they have duplicated front doors compartments on rear doors and the wide angle rear view camera with warning green yellow red color guide markers are helpful since rear head rest blocks the sides edges nice colorful head unit with 18 XM preset stations @ my finger tips and a USB port for added music choices...read morehide

Bought Nissan Rogue 2012 S AWD Special Edition.
Requirement
- Looking for a crossover which could address the requirements for small family (couple and an infant) and it fit the bill perfectly.
- AWD - We get lot of snow here in Phily and AWD became a necessity.
Pros
- Special Edition provided very good value esp with the reverse parking camera (and 15" aluminium wheels, steering mounted controls, privacy glass, decent audio system) and fog lamps; a must for this SUV which huge D Pillars which limits visibility.
- Styling and performance are top notch with ever reliable Nissan quality. CVT with quiet cabin gets good mileage.
- Good MPG. I have been getting 21.0 MPG in summer with A/C in typical city driving conditions which is pretty good.
- Getting bumper protector is a must have in this trim because of the distinctive styling.
- Cabin has some cool features.

Cons
- Lacks auto-headlights in base S trim. At times you may not realize that headlights are not turned on esp night time.
- Limited cargo space although fits the bill for all usual requirements.
- Underpowered for quick passing at highways. However, it does not matter for defensive and conservative drivers....read morehide

Overall this is a great car. It drives like a sedan but provides the height needed to no longer be blinded by headlights behind you at night. Space is just right for the single girl with occasional Costco trips.

The only issue so far has been the rear passenger side window randomly opening. It has happened multiple times and the dealer is at a loss for the cause. I'm really hoping Nissan steps up to fix this issue....read morehide
