I love the car-- leather, heated seats...moonroof...nice cargo with a privacy shield...nice design...chrome accents on the sidesof the car...nav system...great stereo. The CVT is not for everyone. If you like a car to perform at GO, get a V6 suv with true power. The CVT makes a long ride smoother, and the SPORTS MODE simulates a V6 engines torque. Averaging 21.5 miles per gallon currently...not toooooo impressed, but the smooooooth ride with no SHIFTING EFFECT is what sold me. NICER interior storage compartments. Crystal clear Bluetooth. It is very easy to hit 80 miles per hour because you don't FEEEEEEEL the car going into a higher gear. Constant creshendo with no interruptions. NICE CAR. Good price. A KEEPER. Better than the CRV. Cheaper than the MAZDA CRVs. COOLER that the TOYOTA RAV4 (my old car)....read morehide

- Pros
- 24-25 MPG combined city and curvy/hilly highway. Looks nice inside and out. Smooth riding.
- Cons
- Cargo area is smaller than I would like, but got such a good price, I couldn't pass it up.

I just love my 2013 Rogue. I traded in my '04 Tahoe, so the savings in gas is making over 1/2 my monthly payment. It has plenty of pep, although the CVT takes some getting used to I think. A backup camera, power lumbar, USB port, Intelligent Key and bluetooth for phone are standard, and that's awesome for the price I paid. There's plenty of room in front for a taller driver or passenger (6'1"). I wouldn't pay sticker price, but it's a great deal after incentives. I'm very happy with it....read morehide

- Pros
- After 800 miles about 21mpg city in winter
- Cons
- Wish it had a compas like Fords have, small screen navi with arrow that does point north

Just purchased 2 months ago. So far no problems, getting used to cvt trans. Wish i could tow with it but not sure if i want to try, they say 1500# but most trailers weigh a little more. Used to have a Ford Escape that towed my 2,000# pop up just great. Wanted better gas mileage and am now getting 21mpg city in winter, i guess not bad after only 800 miles. Also slightly less cargo room than my 2003 Escape....read morehide

- Pros
- Great little SUV crossover
- Cons
- Built in Navagation is basicly a cheap Tom-Tom, but it will get you were you want to go.

This compact SUV with AWD is the top of the line model with the SL package. The interior looks great and the leather seats are very comfortable for long trips, the dash is soft to the touch, not the cheap hard plastic. Nissan has improved this model since it's introduction in 2008 and it shows from it's excellent fit and finish. I get 27 to 28 MPG driving on the parkway at 65 to 70 mph and average about 24 MPG driving around town. Not bad for an AWD. The 4 cylinder engine has plenty of pep to get this SUV going 0 to 60 with out complaint. The rear cargo area holds an amazing amount of items and with the rear seat and front passenger seat down you can really carry large and long items with out any problems. The CVT works very well with this 4 cylinder engine but it does whine a bit at low speeds. Overall I would recommend the Nissan Rouge as a great buy and with Nissan's reliability record you cannot go wrong owning one also. I looked at the Hyundai Sportage, but frankly it is an ugly vehicle, the Honda CVR and the Toyota Rav-4 costs a lot more than the Nissan Rogue because Nissan has a great incentives & rebates on the Rogue so you can get a great deal when you negotiate your final price....read morehide

- Pros
- ours is a 2010 model, comfortable seating, plenty of room for bigger people
- Cons
- Fuel economy is just average,CVT trans. shakes like crazy
Purchased As Used
Have a 2010 Rogue, purchased used in july of 2012 with 28,000 km . Hoped for better fuel economy . CVT trans vibrates so bad now I could rent it out to Home Depot as a paint shaker. Been to dealer many times, drained some trans fluid out twice, second time over litre said there was to much in it. No difference.Between 1200and 1500 rpm vibrates bad. At rpm rates above 1500 it gets better. It runs at the 1200/1500 rpm up to 65 kph when you are trying to maintain the speed limit . Dealers fix turn off overdrive untill 50kph +. At 40kph engine revs 3000+ rpm .Was told engine has a rev limiter set at 5000rpm and will shut down engine and should prevent any damage to the engine . Warranty is no good if they won't fix the transmission. Would not buy another Rogue...read morehide
