I love love love my Sentra! it was a transition from a long big dodge stratus..but the transition became very easy. I have had no major problems with this car...heck, i have had no problems at all with this car! I have a 2008 and bought it with 13,000 miles...now it has 66,000..I feel so cute in my little baby! It is great for road trips also...I have thought about getting the max or altima..but after seeing new 2013 model of the sentra...i think i may be a sentra owner for life...unless i start having kids soon.. i love this car! I got a keyless entry installed and now it perfect!...read morehide

- Pros
- great turning radius, big trunk, handling, ride, options
- Cons
- disappointing gas mileage

I got this 2012 model car for my daughter to use through college. It is a great car except the advertised gas mileage is nothing short of a lie. It will get over 30 mpg highway, we get 33. But the city mileage is horrible, ranging from only 22-25 mpg, not the 27 Nissan claims. We are not lead foot drivers either. So if you are planning on a lot of urban use, you can do better than this car. Also this one has a navigation system but no rear camera....read morehide

- Pros
- Good looking, easy to drive. Great transmission.
- Cons
- Side mirrors blind spots, 360 degree vision needs improvement

Although gas mileage is decent, better mileage needs to be improved.
Extras like cruise control, access to the trunk with the remote control, disk brakes, bluetooth, etc., should be included as part of a package.
We bougth our car in 2009 and so far so good with no problems whatsoever.
A great wonderful not so little of a car at a great price....read morehide2 out of 3 people found this review helpful.

I first fell in love with this ride when i took a trip to Puerto Rico. Our rental was a Sentra. We had it for a week and I drove everywhere! I didn't even give my husband a chance! It was smooth responsive and just fun to drive. I got the SR less than a month ago with the sport grill, splash guards, the rear spoiler all in black with the grey interior. I call it my "Little Monster". Its has everything I need and nothing I don't. I wish I could have afforded the Nav system with Bluetooth and xm radio but i'm saved with the iPod auxillary in the armrest and on the stereo unit. There's a preset to automatically raise and lower the volume based on your speed. Its a great detail. The gas being at 35 miles to the gallon for me has been excellent since i drive 80 miles a day in Atlanta. My previous vehicle was an 03 Xterra at 15 mpg. After 10 good years i had to change and wanted to go smaller anyway. It's an excellent purchase for a well made car. If you're looking into simple, stylish, affordability (duh) and reliability, try a Nissan. You will spend less in your investment with tune ups, oil changes, any form of parts replacements or orders since Nissan is common in the US versus other foreign cars. Do the research and find a Nissan!...read morehide

Enjoyed trip from GB, WI to Arizona and back thru Utah, Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa etc and never even thought about driving something else. Very comfortable, responsive, great fuel economy. A performer at a value price. Why pay more?

- Pros
- real nice Special Edition options, good legroom front/back, front seats lower/raise to accomodate
- Cons
- Gas milage not quite there, some plastic trim/interior pieces weak/breaking
Purchased As New
Overall, especially for the money, this has been a great car. With no real problems at all other than some cosmetic stuff with several pieces of plastic inside and outside the car breaking and/or being cheaply constructed and the gas milage being a little exaggerated as we have proven ourselves, it has been reliable, comfortable, and fun to drive. It does get up and go when it needs too, and is small enough to drive intown with no worries. We usually keep our cars for an average of three years before we get a new one, but I have a strong suspicion that we will hold on to this one for a while yet. This is our first Nissan car, but we have had two Titans and three Quests before purchasing this Sentra. So far, no complaints with Nissan either! Try it out, you'll like it :)...read morehide

Road trip of 2,299.6 miles on 73 gallons of gas. That's 31.5 miles per gallon. North from Florida to Tennessee then up to Pennsylvania, then back home.
Next car that I purchase will be the Sentra!0 out of 0 people found this review helpful.

It has everything you can possibly get in a vehicle for around 17K. We LOVE our new 2012 Nissan Sentra and we also enjoy the mpg that we get. We've driven it over 120 miles before we reach a 1/2 tank. That's what we LOVE the most about our Sentra, and the ride is so smooth. Curtis"SAEGE"Hodges&Family
