Purchased As New
I've had a 2009 Versa since 2008, and my Nissan dealer started asking me a year ago if I wanted to trade it in, so I finally went in and talked to them. I loved my Versa, but was curious about the Sentra. Like my Versa, I don't think I could have found a better deal than the one I got with my Sentra. The ride is very smooth and quiet, the seats are very comfortable, it has plenty of room and a massive trunk. What really sold me was the ride and the comfortable seats. I was originally after a manual transmission, like I had in my Versa, but went with the CVT after seeing it got better fuel economy than the manual. I love the CVT! It does take some getting used to, but all the complaints I've seen about it are simply because it doesn't feel or sound like a geared transmission. Once it gets dialed in, no matter what speed I'm driving it is at 1500-2000 rpm, and I'm barely pushing on the gas. It has great acceleration, although you can't just floor it. Give it a firm boost of gas and you can beat most anything from a dead stop. I bought my Sentra off the lot, so my model has the accent lighting, which I never would have added on my own, but the only things that I think can improve my car are options I didn't add the time of purchase, but will next time, like fog lights, cruise control and a moon roof. This is a great car, and I am more impressed with each passing day. It is an excellent car for the money, and I expect it to be like my Versa, trouble free.
