2012 Nissan Sentra

Purchased As New

Once owned a 1983 Sentra SE. It got 43MPG on trips. Once towed a 1,000 pound pop up camper and got honest 29MPG. It was a great car, 110HP/5spd. Why won't the new ones get that MPG? Actually after 29 years they should be getting 63MPG without any "hybrid" nonsense!

Lease a 2011 Sentra and we like it so much that we purchased a new 2012 Sentra for my wife to drive. Got rid of a 2011 Ford Fiesta that felt like we were driving a tin can.

Overall, this is a great car with a big car feel and good accelleration. This car is comfortable and powerful with a 6 speed, smooth operating manual transmission. It has a very soft ride and is very responsive through the range of gears.
I would have only liked a few features added (like a key remote), but I did buy a base model as I did not have much to spend.
I would recommend this car to anyone needing a great 4-door family car with a very quiet cabin and a nice, roomy feel....read morehide
