Purchased As New
I've just passed 4000 miles and have had my SV for over 3 months. I didn't particularly want this car, but my beloved 10 year old daily commuter needed to be replaced. I test drove a variety of other cars - Subaru Impreza and CrossTrek, Toyota Corolla, Ford Fiesta, and Mazda 3. The Sentra was hands-down the best value, nicest interior, and best option package - and we paid under 18K.
I have a mixed daily commute - partly rural, a long stretch in stop and go suburbs, and some highway. I average a solid 39.5 mpg week after week. The car has an "ECO" mode, but I quickly found that I could get the same mileage in normal mode if I paid attention to how I was driving. A Sport mode is also available, but doesn't add much to the driving experience.
This was my first CVT, and it did take some getting used to but it feels normal to me now.
The interior of the cabin is impressive, the back seats are completely usable for adult passengers, and the trunk space is massive.
The SV Driver's package provided a nice suite of options with Bluetooth, back up camera, satellite radio, and navigation.
Overall, it is a LOT of car for the $ and the quality has been excellent so far. Everything works as expected and the car feels and rides better than I expected.
