Hottest Car on the Road!!!

by kz from Ohio (10/08/08)
Pros:I love the look and feel of the car. Very solid. Very roomy for a roadster.
Cons:I do not like where the cup holders are very hard to get to.

I would recommend this fun car to anyone. I love driving it. This was my first non MOM car! Kids are gone now is the time for fun and this car does it!!!!

Best sports car in its price range

by David from Griffin, Ga (9/05/08)
Pros:Great handling, good power at all RPMS, great looks, reliable,...and girls like it :)
Cons:could be a bit lighter, interior could be a bit more sophistcated, very little trunk space

Definetly the best sports car for the money. Only thing close is an S2000 with has more aglity but less power (roomate has one), but if your more than 6'0 or 200 pounds the interior of the s2000 is a bit small. Ride is a bit harsh (its a sports car, you want soft ride by a caddy) but not at all bad, nothing like a corvette, which feels like a loud earthquake. Good power at all speed, but very good at mid range. Car is also easy to work on, body work is excellent, even 03s bodywork holds up, unlike a lot of older hondas or chevy with bumper and headlight speration. Top works very well. Interior is kinda plain, not ugly, just a bit boring, however its very similar to older model Z, given it a vintage-ish look. Low cabin noise up to 130 mph, even at 160 its sill pretty quite, even for a rag top.

Handling is excellent, will out-corner almost any Japanese car, and all american sport/muscle cars, new or old. I would not recomend it for 50+ age set due to ride harshness (once again, sports car) but for anyone else, its a great car

Fun on wheels and the driver looks pretty good too

by dxraygirl from AZ (8/14/08)
Pros:hugs the mountain curves, tight steering and suspension
Cons:No room for much of anything other than the driver and passenger

Love this car. With the top down you don't get the wind blown look. Top goes up and down with the push of one button. You can feel the 360 hp when you start this one up. Wow, what a fun car to drive. The mpg is about what is stated in the specs, but who cares with a car this fun to drive.

A terrific Grand Tourer for the $$$

by onehappydogstl from Saint Louis, Missouri (5/27/08)
Pros:solid chassis for a convertible, greatly revised VQ motor = more horses
Cons:seats dont recline too much, but overall nothing major

this is my second 350Z roadster, my first one was a 2004 when they first came out but traded it after a year sadly because i no longer had a garage to park it in, i decided on my newer 2008 because after doing my homework and negotiating a great deal, i could not be happier, overall an awesome touring car for the money with some nice improvements from the original, most notably the engine and transmission seem to work better together this time around a wonderful combination, also the interior has a few nicer touches, i know the new full redesign for 2009 is just around the corner, but i got a great deal and love the original body shape, i have had faster more horsepowered cars, but this car has an incredible GT and i love hearing the exhaust note with the top down

Not a happy customer

by George from Toronto Onatario Canada (4/14/08)
Pros:It is a 2007 roadster
Cons:Old Technology............not a very satisfied customer.

It is a gas drinker yet I can not feel the 306hps.My 2008 Accord has a much better pick up. Body parts are very poorly assembled. The radio is a low quality. In case of battery power loss it is very, very dificult to close or open the top or the trunk.Way too much money for what it is.
Make sure you do your home work prior making a decision.

Most sports car for the money, by far.

by J. Bowers from Birmingham, Al. (4/14/08)
Pros:long wheelbase makes ride excellent for its tight suspension, feels solid.
Cons:Cannot think of a ligitimate complaint.

Great looks, performance is as expected, shifts smoothly. I'm 6'1'' and have great leg room. The power driver seat is excellent and the location of the control is very convenient. There is so much leg room that I move the seat up in traffic to more easily reach the clutch and back on the open highway. Surges from 60 to 80 mph in 6th gear.

My 350Z Roadster is Superb!

by Hitobito from Providence, RI (3/18/08)
Pros:Excellent power, smooth shifting, rides like a high performance sportscar, excellent fit and finish
Cons:It sits very low to the ground and its sometimes a challenge to get out of if you're 64 years old!

My 350Z Roadster is simply exhilarating! Put the top down on a sunny New England day and head for an ocean front drive is pure pleasure! In terms of acceleration, the 350Z is the best value available in the U.S.! The gearbox is silky smooth with short throws between gears. The cabin is quiet enough to have a conversation at 85 miles per hour or to listen to Luciano Pavarotti sing Nessum Dorma on the superlative Bose stereo system. I read the only other review of the 350Z rattling over rough roads...I can only say that I have never experienced a rattle even on the poorest New England roads! My Z car is as tight as my Mercedes E320, BMW535i and my wife's Honda Accord Hybrid. The rental Z must have been abused. The 350Z Roadster is sheer pleasure!

Inferior build and interior dampens enjoyment

by Lawrence W. from Pasadena, CA (3/13/08)
Pros:Strong Engine, Good Brakes and Handling
Cons:Low quality interior materials and design. Poor assembly and worksmanship

I had one through a rental company for one week. It was for the most part fun, but I was glad to turn it in at the end of the rental. The interior quality was poor. The interior design seemed to be tailored after easy assembly. Rattles and noises can be heard at every bump. Doesn't feel solid.

I liked the strong engine, brakes and handling. I would definitely categorize this as a weekend car, since I wouldn't want to sit in this in my daily commutes. It would be fun to drive around for about 1 hour every few weeks.
